boxers fighting each other in the ring. Jackie Nava and Ana Maria
Torres is of that calibre that fans need to see on television!

McMorrow Wins by a Split

(JULY 31) Last night at the Aviator Sports Complex, in
Brooklyn, New York, flyweight Melissa McMorrow, of San Carlos,
California, won a second fight in New York this year, when she
defeated Keisher McLeod Wells, with an eight-round split decision.
This was a rematch for the two.

(JULY 31) Last night in a "History First" for the WBC,
in Mexico, with their first Diamond Belt Championship for women, Ana Maria Torres, won by
10-round unanimous decision over Jackie Nava. Torres was also our
pick for WBAN's August 2011 Fighter of the month!

(JULY 30) Last night on the
"Night of Champions" card, at the Jean Pierre Sports
Complex, in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad And Tobago, Ria Ramnarine,
32, from Trinidad, lost a 10-round unanimous decision to
Russian boxer Anastasia Toktaulova, 34.
WBAN was told by our correspondent that the fight was close,
with Ramnarine appearing to bring the fight to Toktaulova.
Toktaulova moved nicely in the ring, but Ramnarine reportedly
being more aggressive in the bout. Regardless, the judges saw
the fight go to the Russian in this particular bout. ..Full

about the data that I was able to obtain from many valuable
sources from China, I would like to give a sincere "thank you"
to all, for the help that I received in trying to learn more
about the female boxers and the sport in itself in China.
This journey began in wanting to seek more information about the
women boxers in China, after a fight that took place in
July between Ji-Hyun Park of South Korea vs. Sun Yanqun, of

overcoming a slow start, won an unanimous ten round decision
over a tough Chistina Ruiz and captured the vacant WBC super

(JULY 6) The IFBA is pleased to
sanction two fights in South Korea in July and has sent over a
special ambassador to oversee the matches. On Saturday, July 9,
South Korean fighter Dan-Bi Kim (7-2) puts her IFBA Mini
Flyweight title on the line against China’s Liu Jian Li (5-0) in
Li’s first fight outside of China. The 10-round championship
