(SEPT 30) Last night at the Korakuen Hall,
in Tokyo,
Japan,
Saemi Hanagata, 101¾, a former OPBF Mini-flyweight champion won a ten-round split decision over Yuko Kuroki,
101½, a former WBC Mini-flyweight champion. This was a rubber
match for the two. the two were fighting for the vacant IBF
Atomweight title. This was a rubber match between them. The final judges scores were 96-94, 96-94, and 95-96.

(SEPT 29) Tonight at the Palais des Sports
Saint-Sauveur, Lille, Nord, France, Licia Boudersa won by an eight-round TKO
over Hasna Tukic. The bout was scheduled for ten rounds. The two were
fighting for the vacant WBF featherweight title. In a second female bout
lightweight Sayda Mosquera, 135, won a four-round unanimous decision over
Marlene Aguilar, 132¼.

history, AIBA hosted its own Gender Equity Forum. The Forum welcomed
over 50 participants from all over the world, including national women’s
boxing leaders, coaches and referees. The AIBA Gender Equality Forum
started off with a grand opening ceremony that featured welcome speeches
from: Tom Virgets (CEO of AIBA), Krasen Kalev (Minister of Sport in
Bulgaria), Franco Facinelli (Executive Vice President and EUBC

Thai super star called “Genius Girl” in Thailand. She holds the
