(SEPT 16) On Friday night, September 14th, at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan, in the featured female bout on this card, Naoko Fujioka, 111, of Tokyo,  won a ten-round unanimous decision over Irma Sanchez, 111. Final judges scores were 100-90 across the board.  Fujioka was defending her WBA Flyweight world title.

Fujioka won the belt on March 13, 2017, when she TKO'd Isabel Millan in the tenth round when the two were fighting for the vacant WBA Flyweight world title.

Fujioka improved her record to 18-2-0 (7KO), and Sanchez's record fell to 30-8-1 (8KO).  Fujioka has won six our of her last seven world title bouts, with this September fight being the first for her in 2018, and two world title bouts in 2017.

Sanchez who has been fighting since 2006---- this bout being her first fight in 2018.   Sanchez fought twice in 2017, winning both of those bouts.

In viewing the fight, both were in very good condition, with Sanchez showing heart throughout the bout, and Fujioka, showing to be the stronger, more accurate aggressive boxer who through some very powerful barrages of combinations throughout the bout.  Both displayed good sportsmanship against each other throughout the bout.
