Maureen Shea and Yulihan Avila fight to a Split Draw! August 30, 2015

(AUG 30) Last night at the Forum, Inglewood, California, Maureen Shea, 120, of Bronx, New York, and Yulihan Alejandra Luna Avila, 121¾, of Durango, Mexico, fought to a 10-round split draw.  The two were fighting for the IBF Super Bantamweight world title.  Final judges scores were 93-97, 95-95, and 98-92.  The fight was featured on the  Mosley vs. Mayorga main event. 

Mexico:  Isabel Millan Wins by Decision over Ramirez for vacant WBF International Flyweight title August 30, 2015

(AUG 30) Last night at the Montemorelos, Nuevo León, Mexico, Isabel "La Estrella" Millan, 111¼, of Tonala, Mexico, won a 10-round unanimous decision over Cecilia "La Artillera" Ramirez, 111¼., of Mexico. The two were fighting for the vacant Flyweight WBF International title. Judges scores were 97-93, 96-94, and 99-91.
