Latest Update on Esmeralda Moreno!
Source/WBC
August 18, 2015

(AUG 18)  This week it was published on the net that Esmeralda “Joya” Moreno is ready to return to the ring after having a baby. The WBC wrote, "Moreno has concluded a pregnant pause and is back with a vengeance for the title she had to leave behind, with: In Recess Status."

They went on to report: "After a year of inactivity she returned to the ring, but had to struggle and strive hard, to regain peak condition."
Moreno said, “I had some troubles. Being honest it was quite hard to return. But finally I once again reached my best shape and now I am ready to get my title back."

Esmeralda left the title vacant on 2012 and it's now in the capable grasp of Ibeth “Roca” Zamora. Esmeralda will have the chance to recover the crown on September 5th.

“ I am not intimidated fighting one of the toughest rivals of this sport. During my career I had faced Germany's Alesia Graf, Italy's Simona Galassi and Mexicans Mariana Juarez as well as Ana Maria Torres. In spite of losing those fights, I gained a lot of experience.
"At light flyweight, nobody has defeated me, as I'm in my ideal division. I feel really comfortable and strong, I am going to recover my title come what may, " vowed Esmeralda.
