(SEPT 24) Tonight in Buenos Aires, Distrito Federal, Argentina, flyweight Andrea Sanchez, 109¼, of Buenos Aires, won a four-round unanimous decision over Veronica Tesure, 110, also of Buenos Aires. Final judges scores were 36-40 on all cards. Sanchez moved her record to 4-0-1 (1KO), and Tenure remains winless at 0-4-1.

Amanda Serrano to fight October 18th (SEPT 18) News received earlier today--  Amanda Serrano said on Facebook that after successfully defending her WBO Featherweight World Title two months ago that she is back this time dropping down to fight for the WBO Super Bantamweight World Title that will take place on October 18th. She said,  "I'll be fighting for my 4th division, this will tie my record with my Idol Miguel Cotto and make me the first to ever win the WBO in 3 divisions 135, 126, & 122.

(SEPT 18)  On Friday night, at the Polideportivo General Paz, in Cordoba, Argentina, Super bantamweight Cristina del Valle Pacheco, 121¼, won an eight-round unanimous decision over Marta Soledad Juncos, 122.  Final judges scores were 80-71, 80-72, and 80-72.  In a second female bout, featherweight Cintia Castillo, 122¼, won a four-round unanimous decision over Alicia Machaca, 122¼.  Final judges scores were 40-36, 40-37, and 40-36.
