Christy Salters Martin's Pink Promotions Brings Professional Boxing Event to the Grady Cole Center, Charlotte, North Carolina- October 19th!
September 6, 2016

(SEPT 6)  CHARLOTTE NC -- Christy Salters Martin’s Pink Promotions has joined forces with Pretty Girl Promotions owned by Mercedes Vasquez to bring championship boxing to The Grady Cole Center in Charlotte, NC on October 19. The event will be headlined by local hard punching Quinton Rankin and an NABF championship fight between Rosalinda Rodriquez vs Noemi Bosques. In addition to these exciting bouts Christian Camacho, Berry Butler and Daniel “DP” Powell will be featured in separate fights.

Quinton Rankin (11-3-1) will take on tough veteran Mike Wilmer from West Virginia in an 8 round bout. Rankin will be looking to show his KO power by stopping Wilmer after dropping a close controversial decision in Texas to top contender Medzhid Bektemirov. Rankin is Charlotte’s own hot prospect that promises an electrifying show for his hometown fans.

A co-feature, Rosalinda Rodriguez vs Noemi Bosques will be battling for the vacant bantamweight NABF title. Both ladies are hungry to become champion and take a step closer to a WBC world title opportunity. This fight has the potential to be the fight of the night, neither will take a step backward, it is a sure bet for a war. This fight is a natural rivalry with Rodriguez of Mexico and Bosques from Puerto Rico, as fight fans know so many legendary fights have occurred when representatives from Mexico and Puerto Rico have clashed.

In what promises to be an exciting fight, Christian Camacho takes on Jovanni Said of South Carolina. Christian is the son of boxing legend and hall of famer, Hector Camacho who is looking to make his own mark in the boxing world. Also, two of South Carolina’s toughest fighters Daniel “DP” Powell and Berry Butler will continue on their journey to becoming world champions.

Also, as a special attraction to support Safe Alliance Domestic Violence group, Carlette Ewell, of Winston Salem will be sparring Bonnie Mann formerly from Raleigh. In addition to the special attraction, the promotion will take a few minutes to hear from Safe Alliance and a survivor of domestic violence in an effort to bring an end to the violence.

The weigh-in will be held on Tuesday October 18 at 6pm and is open to the public:

Homewood Suites
2770 Yorkmont Road
Charlotte 704-357-0500.
The promotion is asking for fans attending the weigh-in and/or event to bring school supplies that will be donated to local schools and student in need of them.

Tickets are available
Pink Promotions and Pretty Girl Promotions want to thank Beasley Media Group, NAC TECH, Homewood Suites, Safe Alliance, Kelly Services, WBC CARES, Tool Time Rental, Fast Fit Boxing and The Ultimate Boxing Gym for their support.
