(SEPT 16) On October 22, 2016, at the historic Arena Coliseo, Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico, Melissa "Mighty" McMorrow, 10-5-3 (1KO) will face Esmeralda "Joya" Moreno, 33-9-1 (11KO).

Moreno said in that article, ""It's a fight that will be explosive because we have similar styles and do not know how retreat and that's something the people like; I have to fight a very smart fight because Melissa throws many punches and that impresses the judges, however you will see what "Joya" Moreno is capable of." Moreno went on to say that she got a new opportunity for a world title, and that McMorrow will not be the one to ruin that.
