(MAY 30) On the weekend there were many boxing results for the
women boxers. Here are the following that have come into WBAN so
far: On Friday, at the Levis Arena , in Levis, Quebec, Canada,
Rosie Thomas, who was making her pro debut as a super
bantamweight, defeated Nathalie Forget in a four-round
unanimous decision; At the Zlatopramen Arena, in Usti nad Labem,
Czech Republic, middleweight Christina Hammer remained
undefeated when she won a 10-round unanimous decision over Maria

Lionel Rose, born June 21, 1948, died in Melbourne, Australia. Rose
