(MAY 26) Christy Martin
participated in the public workout before the press today at
the Angelina Fortune Gym in Hollywood, California. Martin
will be fighting on June 4, 2011, at the Staples Center, in Los
Angeles, California. Martin will be fighting Dakota Stone in a
rematch.
Martin said that she is anxious
to get into the ring, and to be excited to be on the card.
Martin has been training in Las Vegas, Nevada under the tutelage
of Miguel Diaz and former world bantamweight champion, Richie
Sandoval.
"I think this is a
good time for me to step into the ring and find that 50th win of
my career. Not many professional boxers have achieved that
number of victories and it is a goal I would achieve, " said
Martin.
