(MAY 3) WBAN received a press release yesterday, along with some video of the amateur bout between Australian amateur boxer Mischa Merz (and also an established author), and Natalie "Na foo" Davila. Davila won the bout against Merz.  There is footage of their post-fight comments. Natalie Davila is now 2-0 in women's masters boxing and fights out of Champion Breed Boxing in Queens N.Y.

The amateur event took place on April 23, 2011,  at Gleason's Gym in New York. There were fifteen bouts on the card. In the press release, they said, " It was an incredible night for women's amateur boxing at the legendary Gleason's Boxing Gym. Competitors ,trainers, promoters and boxing fans from all over the tri-state gathered together to acknowledge the best of the best in woman's amateur boxing ."
