Australia:  Shannon O'Connell Wins by a Seventh Round TKO over Fulmer

 (AUG 27) Last night at the Queensland Country Bank Stadium, Townsville, Queensland, Australia, Shannon O'Connell, 121, of Queensland, Australia, won by a seventh round TKO in an 8-round bout over Kylie Fulmer, 122, who is originally from Australia.  The two were fighting for the Australian Super Bantamweight Title.

Katie Taylor Wins by a Unanimous Decision over Delfine Persoon in Rematch
August 23, 2020

(AUG 23)  Last night the rematch between Lightweight champion Katie Taylor vs. Delfine Persoon took place without an audience due to the pandemic. Taylor won by a 10-round unanimous decision, where the fight took place at the Matchroom Fight Camp, in Brentwood.  Final judges scores were 96-94, 98-93, and 96-94.   Taylor is now 16-0-0 keeping all her world title (WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO) belts.  Persoon is now 44-3 (18KO).  Highlights of the fight..Full Story

Jessica McCaskill Defeats Cecilia Braekhus in Multi-World Title Championship Bout by Majority Decision

(AUG 16)  Last night in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in the mainliner, in a ten-round unification world title bout, Jessica McCaskill defeated Cecilia Braekhus who was defending her WBO, WBC, IBO, WBA, IBF Welterweight world title bouts. The bout was live on DAZN.  McCaskill improved her record to 9-2-0 (3KO), and Braekhus experiencing her first defeat in the sport, is now 36-1-0 (9KO).  Full Story

Britain Hart Wins by a first round RTD over Kim Wabik

(AUG 16)  Last night at the Southpaw Boxing and Fitness, in Windham, Britain Hart, 127, of Bedford, Virginia, now 4-4-3 (3KO), won by a first round 2:00 minute, RTD over Kim Wabik, 127, of Revere, Massachusetts,  now 4-1-2 (0KO).  The bout was scheduled for six rounds.   This was a rematch for the two, in the first bout, the two fought to a four-round split draw.  (AUG 10)  On Friday night, August 7, 2020, at the Matchroom Fight Camp, Brentwood, Essex, UK, In an exciting, all-action title bout, Terri Harper, 129¼.  of Yorkshire, UK, had a 10-round split draw with Natasha Jonas, 129, of Liverpool, Merseyside, UK.  Final scores were 94-96, 95-95, and 96-95. Latest Update on the Marlen Esparza fight that takes place on August 28th

(AUG 1) WBAN had announced earlier this week that Marlen Esparza was going to be fighting Jackie Calvo---just to find out that the opponent was been changed to Noemi Bosques, apparently due to Calvo being injured.  So the two will be fighting at the Fantasy Springs Casino, in Indio, Ca.
