(MAR 17) On Saturday, Cynthia Talmadge,
of San Francisco, improved to (2-1, 2 KO's) when she knocked
out Catalina De La Cruz via third round TKO, in a scheduled
four-rounder, at the Doubletree Hotel, in Ontario, California, on a
private show promoted by Thompson Boxing Promotions.
After dominating rounds one and two,
Talmadge landed a barrage of punches to the body and head of De La
Cruz before the referee stopped the bout in the third round. Look
for Talmadge to be back in action later April or early June.
