(MAR 9) Last night in Krefeld,
Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany,
Ina Menzer,
125¼, delivered Canadian Sandy Tsagouris, 126, her first
professional loss, when Menzer defeated Tsagouris with a 10-round
unanimous decision for the WIBF featherweight that she was
defending, and for the vacant WBC Featherweight title. Final judges
scores were 96-94, 97-33, and 97-93.
In a second women’s bout,
Alesia Graf,
114¾, won a 10-round unanimous decision over Hagar Shmoulefeld
Finer, 114¾. The two were fighting for the GBU and WIBF super
flyweight title. Final judges’ scores were 98-92, 98-93, and 97-93.
