fight that took place on September 26, 2009. Did I really
lose? Well, what fighter will admit to a loss on a
decision? I would, and no, I don’t feel that I lost, but...Full

Why Have Weight Classes?
Why Not Just Call Outs!
By Coach “K”
September 20, 2009 |

(SEPT 20) First, lets make this clear I love the game of boxing.
The problem I ask is where are we going? Do we want it to become
wrestling? My “God” no please! Loving the game like I do, how is it
we allowed for a fighter to demand a catch weight (144 lb, Floyd
Mayweather who fought last night) then miss his own declared weight
and weigh in at 146 just one pound..Why

(SEPT 13) On Friday night at the Johnson County Fairgrounds,
before a large and enthusiastic crowd, Emily and Katy Klinefelter
were both successful in their respective professional boxing bouts.
Lightweight Katy moved to 4-0 with a first round knockout victory
over Waterloo MMA veteran Lacy Terrell. After a cautious start by
Klinefelter, who felt her opponent out and landed solid jabs to the
body, Katy suddenly landed a short, well-thrown, crisp left hook to
Terrell's jaw that caused Terrell to stagger and wobble about the
ring, unable to regain her balance, forcing referee Pete Henkels to
stop the bout.

words, phrases and full voiced declarations, backed by the harmony
of the flat "a's" and absent "r's" of her native Massachusetts. Reis
is never more in tune that when she speaks of her sport, boxing.
