Tomorrow Night:  Brenda Flores to fight Mayerli Altamar
February 28, 2019

(FEB 28) Tomorrow night at the Auditorio Municipal Fausto Gutiérrez Moreno, Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, Brenda Flores, 15-4-1 (3KO), of of Tijuana, will be fighting Mayerli Altamar, 13-2-2 (7KO), of Barranquilla, Colombia.  The two will be fighting 10 rounds in the Mainliner. According to Boxrec, this will be First defense of Interim atomweight title by Flores.

In a female bout scheduled on the card, Newark, Delaware's Schmelle “The Real Deal” Baldwin (3-0-0 (2KO) who had one cameo appearance in “Creed 2”, is set to face off with a tough fighter from Waycross, GA, Monika Harrison (2-0-1 (1KO). (FEB 20)  Kellie Harrington, Michaela Walsh, Dean Gardiner, Grainne Walsh, Christina Desmond and Kieran Molloy are amongst Ireland’s top boxers to feature at this weekend’s Liffey Crane IABA National Elite Championships being held at the National Boxing Stadium. Nicola Adams fight is off with Arely Mucino due to injury

(FEB 19) It has been reported via media that Nicola Adams sustained an injury and will not be fighting Arely Mucino and the bout will be postponed at a later day.  Adams was suppose to meet up in the ring on March 8th against Mucino.  The two were going to fight for the WBO Flyweight title.  The promoter said, "The world title bout will now be rescheduled to take place later in the year.

Mikaela Mayer to fight Yareli Larios for NABF Title

(FEB 14)  Tomorrow night at the  Grand Casino, Hinckley, Minnesota, in a women's bout Mikaela Mayer, 9-0-0 (4KO), of Colorado Springs, Colorado, she will face Yereli Larios, 13-1-1(3KO), in a eight-round bout for the NABF Super Featherweight title.  Both Mayer and Larios are coming off wins from there last bouts, that took place in 2018.

(FEB 10) The AIBA Executive Committee convened for a two-days meeting to discuss the current state of affairs and the continued progress towards its new reforms in the Turkish city of Istanbul on February 8 and 9.
