Promoter and Melissa Hernandez Reconcile
Source: Press Release
May 5, 2008

(MAY 5) Promoter, Adrian L. Patrick of Gladiator X Promotions, LLC. and boxer, Melissa "Hurricane" Hernandez have reconciled and are ready to move forward and take over women's boxing. We are looking for fights anytime anywhere.

"With the loss of Laila Ali, Melissa Hernandez is the future of female boxing and we need other female fighters to step up to the plate and do not be afraid to fight. Because of her love for women's boxing,

Melissa Hernandez fought the toughest women boxers early in her career. She knew she had to fight in order to keep the business going. Other women boxers need to follow her example and just fight." states Adrian L. Patrick of Gladiator X Promotions, LLC.

"In addition to the loss of Laila Ali, women's boxing is suffering from a bad United States economy. It is important that all women boxers understand that the economy is slow. So in order for female boxing to survive, all boxers have to be reasonable with their purse requests, so that small independent promoters around the country are able to keep women's boxing going."
