In an eight round super flyweight match for the OPBF title, A no surprise unanimous decision for Tomoko Kawanishi over Jubjang Lookmakarmwan.

March 30, 2014 - Sportova hala MSO, Šturovo, Slovakia
Middleweight Diane Marcz, won a third round TKO over Eva Nemeth.  The fight was scheduled for six rounds.

March 30, 2014 - Sativa Midland Hotel, Kyela, Tanzania
Super Bantamweight Flora Machela won a four-round bout by points over Salma Kihobwa. Final score was 39-37.

March 29, 2014 - Athens, Greece
Super featherweight Areti Mastrodouka, 127¾, won a six-round unanimous decision over Claudia Ferenci, 124.5.  This was reported as a history first in this country.

March 29, 2014 - Gentlemen Fight Club Boxing House, Budapest, Hungary
Middleweight Szilvia Szabados, 159.5, won by a fourth round TKO over Erika Toth, 159.25.   In a SECOND female bout,  Zsofia Bedo,131¾, won by points in a four-round bout against Gabriella Roman,  126½.

March 29, 2014 - Club Social y Cultural El Cruce, Malvinas Argentinas, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Debora Anahi Dionicius,
114¾,  rated #4, successfully defended her title against Neisi Torres, 114¾, who is rated #61 in world ratings.... A real stinker for a world title bout....In a SECOND female bout, bantamweight Vanesa del Valle Calderon won a four-rounder by points over Alicia Machaca, pro debut.  In a THIRD female bout, bantamweight Julieta Cardoza, pro debut won a four-round bout by a unanimous decision over Paola Gamarra, pro debut.

March 28, 2014 - Auditorio Presidente Néstor Kirchner, Mercado Central, Tapiales, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Mayra Alejandra Gomez won a 10-round split decision over Carolina Gaite.  The two were fighting for the interim WBO bantamweight title.   Final judges scores were 93-97, 96-94, and 97-93.

March 28, 2014 - MBS Arena, Potsdam, Brandenburg, Germany
In what appeared to be a not-to-difficult bout for Ramona Kuehne, 128¾, of Germany, she successfully defended her WBO, WBF, WIBF titles when the fight was stopped by a TKO in...Full Story and link to this questionable "title" bout

Light welterweight Farida El Hadrati won by a second round TKO over Cindy Bonhiver in an eight rounder. They were fighting for some local France title.

March 28, 2014 - Nyon, Switzerland
In the lightweight six, Omella Domini remained undefeated with a unanimous decision over Kremina Petkova. In the featherweight six, Pasa Malagic scored a second round TKO over Sandra Zekic.

March 28, 2014 - San Luis Convention Center, Galveston, Texas
Monica Flores, 112 from Alvin, Texas, won a unanimous decision over in a six-rounder over Paola Ortiz, 110, of Houston, Texas.  Promoted by
Pope Promotions.

March 28, 2014 - Anfiteatro Municipal, Villa Maria, Cordoba, Argentina
Marcela Acuna, 122, won by a sixth round TKO over Estrella Valverde.  The fight was schedule for 10 rounds, Acuna was defending her WBO super bantamweight title. Second bout:  Yesica " El Bombón Asesino" Marcos, 128¼, won a closely fought six rounder by a unanimous decision over Silvia "La Leona" Zacarias, 127¾. Both boxers fight out of Argentina. The six round bout was televised on TyC Sports.

March 27, 2014 - Göta Källare, Stockholm, Sweden
Mikaela Lauren won an eight-rounder over Esther Mashiya for an "Interim" light-middleweight WIBA title.  WBAN was told that the UBO title was not up for grabs due to the fight only being eight rounds....as documented on Boxrec.

March 27, 2014 - SamutSakhon, Thailand
To no one's surprise, Sampson Tor Buamas won a unanimous decision in a six round minimum weight bout over debuting Saengmanel Sor Kulawong.

March 27, 2014 - Stockholm, Sweden
In an eight round super welterweight affair in Stolkholm Sweden: Mikaela Lauren  won the Interim WIBA and the UBO titles with a unanimous decision over Esther Mashiya.

5`10 tall Model and Boxer Tomomi Takano won over Kulabkhao Por Preecha from Thai by TKO in the second round TKO in a scheduled six-round bout in the super featherweight division. Photos

Flyweight Ekaterina Izotova won a third round TKO over Agnes Draxler.  The fight was scheduled for six rounds.

Jessica Belder won a four-round by points over Galina Gumliiska.

March 23, 2014 -Haenum City, South Korea
Ji Hye Woo retains IFBA Featherweight world title over El Paso's Jennifer Han in a close 10 round championship bout, by majority decision. 
Judges scored the bout 96-95, 95-95, 97-93.

March 22, 2014; Bielefeld, Germany
In an eight rounder for the WBF, UBO, and Hungarian bantamweight titles, Renata Domsodi won a unanimous decision over previously unbeaten Alexandra Vlajk, and in a super feather six rounder, Leonie giebel won a points victory over Zsofia Bedo.

Featherweight Karen Elizabeth Carabajal won a four-round unanimous decision over Lorena Gomez.

March 22, 2014- La Trinidad, Philippines
Norj Guro won an unanimous decision in a four round flyweight contest over Rosemarie Cruz.

March 22, 2014 - Kingsway Indoor Stadium, Madeley, Australia
Erin McGowan won by a sixth round TKO over Sriphrae Nongkipahuyuth. The fight was scheduled for six rounds.

March 22, 2014 - Hall Omnisport de La Préalle, Herstal, Liege, Belgium
Ivana Habazin, 144½ won by a 10-round split decision over Sabrina Giulani, 144.  The two were fighting for the vacant IBF Welterweight belt.  In a second female bout, Djemilla Gontaruk, 130 1/4, won a six-round unanimous decision over Wendy Gervois, 128.  Final judges scores were 58-57, 58-57, 59-57.

March 22, 2014 -Five Star Banquet, Long Island City, Queens, NY
Heavyweight Sonya Lamonakis, 229, won by an eight-round unanimous decision over Tiffany Woodard, 184.

Featherweight Lucia Larcinese of Quebec, won a six-round unanimous decision over Jackie Trivilino, of Plattsburgh, New York. The final judges scores were 56-58, 55-59, and 56-58. No other details at this time.

Touted fighter Chantel “Gorgeous Babe” Cordova upset in bid for world title fight Undefeated Maria Suarez .... -by Martin Hines

(MAR 22) Maria Suarez wanted to give her soon-to-be 16-year old son a wonderful birthday present. On Friday night at the Pueblo Convention Center, she did just that. Suarez (8-0) remained.

Welterweight Yanina Vanesa Vildoza, 146.5, won by a first round TKO [0:31] over Veronica Vanesa Robledo, 141.  The fight was scheduled for four rounds.

Joselyn Arroyo Ruiz, 112, now 16-0-0 (7KO), won by a second round KO over Leidis Martinez, 112.5,  4-4-0.

March 15, 2014 - Hotel Arlamow, Arlamow, Poland
Junior welterweight Ewa Piatkowska, 137 1/4, won by a first round TKO over Dasa Gaborova, Ewa is now 3-0 (3KO), and Dasa is 0-2-0.

March 15, 2014 -  Performing Arts Center, in Oxnard, California
Maureen Shea, of Bronx, New York, won a 10-round unanimous decision over Nahime Dennisson.  Final judges scores were 99-91 on all cards.  Shea is now 23-2-0 (11KO), and her opponent is now 5-3-2.

Flyweight Joselyn Arroyo Ruiz, , 112, KO'd Leidis Martinez, 112.5, in the second round [0:24), in a scheduled 10-round bout.

Super featherweight Anna Sikora won a four-rounder Gabriella Roman.

Yazmin Ortega, raised her record to 2-2-1 (1KO), when she defeated world champion Irma Sanchez, now 28-7-1 (8KO)The two fought a 10-round non-title fight, and the scoring was by points in favor of Ortega.

March 15, 2014 - in San Miguel, Argentina
In a bantamweight four rounder, Guadalupe Maria Antonia Maldonado won a unanimous decision over Soledad del Valle Frias, and in a flyweight four rounder, Leonala Paola Yudica Andino remained undefeated with a unanimous decision over Vanesa Loreno Taborde.

Manuela Zulj, 123½, won a four-rounder by points over Ana Boras, 123½.

Saemi Hanagata scored a 5th round TKO over Satomi Nishimura  to win the OPBF minimumweight title.

March 10, 2014 - Coliseo Pedro Julio Nolasco, La Romana, Dominican Republic
Former world champion Dahiana Santana, raised her boxing record to 33-6 (14KO), when she defeated winless Rocio De Leon, now 0-18-1, by a unanimous decision. This was actually a rematch for these two....Why?....who in the world knows.

Wendy Gervois won a points victory over Claudia Ferenci in a super featherweight six.

March 9, 2014 - City Hall, Šturovo, Slovakia
Lightweight Dalia "Black Dalia" Vasarhelyi, now 7-4-0 (1KO), of Budapest, Hungary won by a first round TKO over Veronika Homyak, 4-4-0 (1KO), from Verőce, Hungary.  In a second female bout, lightweight Kleopatra Tolnai, making her pro debut,  won by a first round TKO over Rita Kenessey, of Vác, Hungary. The fight was scheduled for six rounds.

In another six round super featherweight bout, Angelique Duchemin won by KO in the final round over Marianna Bulyas.

March 9, 2014 -  Sakai City Hall, in Osaka, Japan
Nana Yoshikawa won over Krikanok Islandmuaythai from Thai by 1st round TKO. The bout was for the vacant OPBF Light Flyweight Title.  Nana Yoshikawa was a Japan in three different weight divisions. source: Samart

Linda Laura Lecca, now 9-2-1 (3KO), won an eight-round unanimous decision over Maria Vega, 7-1-0 (4KO). Final judges scores were 73-79, 72½-80, and 74-79½. The two were fighting for the vacant WBA Fedelatin super bantamweight title.

March 8, 2014 - Boxing VIP Room Winner Club, Sofia, Bulgaria
Light middleweight Desislava Lazarova, 1-0-0, making her pro debut defeated Violeta Angelova, by a four-round unanimous decision.  Judges scores were 40-36 on all cards.

March 7, 2014 - Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan
Tenkai Tsunami, 118,  of Tokyo, Japan, won a seventh round TKO over Honey Katsumata, 117¾, from the Phillipines, but resides in Tokyo, in a scheduled eight round bout.  The two were fighting for the vacant OPBF bantamweight title.  The title had been made vacant after the previous title holder, Riyo Togo's retirement from the sport. Featherweight Cecilia Mena, now 8-1-1 (4KO), of Tucuman, Argentina,  won a 10-round unanimous decision over Antonina Vazquez,12-1-3 (3KO), of Asuncion, Paraguay.  The two were fighting for the vacant WBC Latino Featherweight title.

March 3, 2014 - Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan
Momo Koseki, 101¾,  won by a ninth round TKO over Thailand boxer ranked worldwide on Boxrec at #46 Angor Onesongchaigym (aka: Angor Sor Saenkamrang for a WBC Atomweight title.  Nice to get a title shot with a 5-0 as Saenkamrang, where three of her opponents were pro debut, and the other was 0-3.  Only in the world of boxing...folks...

March 1, 2014 - North Atlanta Trade Center, Norcross, Georgia
Melissa Hernandez, 137¾,  (19-5-3, 6 KOs) defeated  Nicole Woods, 139¼,  (11-12-3, 3 KOs)  in a rematch by winning an eight round majority decision.  Final judges scores were 76-76, 79-73, 80-73.

March 1, 2014 -Melbourne Pavillion, Victoria, Australia
WBC female super featherweight champion Diana Prazak (13-2, 9 KOs) stopped Shannon O’Connell (8-3, 5 KOs) in round five of scheduled ten round bout at the Melbourne Pavillion, Flemington, Victoria, Australia on Saturday. O’Connell was dropped twice in round two and at 1:56 of the fifth round, referee Frank Hadley saved the challenger from further punishment.

March 1, 2014 - GETEC Arena, Magdeburg, Germany
The WBF World Middleweight Champion Christina Hammer successfully defended her title for the seventh time when she defeated former world champion Jessica Balogun. Hammer and Balogun also fought for the Middleweight world WBO title. Full Story

Jelena Mrdjenovich, 131, won a ten-round unanimous decision over Fatuma Zarika, 126¾. This was a non-title bout according to Boxrec. In a second female bout, Sheena Kaine,134½, making her pro debut, won a four round unanimous decision over Angel Anderson, 136.

March 1, 2014 - London
Hana Horakova (5-10),  defeated Marianne Marston (2-1, 2 KO's) for the WBU European title with a split decision. Marston 77-76 but the other two saw it for 76-77 to Hana.  John G Wilson said, "Hana Horakova ( Chech Republic) wins WBU European Ladies Featherweight Title Belt on split decision from Marianne Marston (England ) in fierce 8 rounder in London, last Saturday night.  This Top of the mens' and womens' bill was a tribute to womens' boxing."

March 1, 2014 - Estadio F.A.B., Buenos Aires, Argentina
Lightweight Erica Farias, 134,  won a 10-round unanimous decision over Maria Eugenia Lopez,134¾.   Farias was defending her WBC Lightweight title.  Final judges scores were 98-91, 98-91, and 98-91.

March 1, 2014 - World Trade Center, Naucalpan, México
