Camila “La Magnifica” Zamorano, born on December 26, 2007,  in Encinas, Mexico, is the youngest female boxer  in WBC History to win a WBC World title bout.   Zamorano began training at the age of 11 years old and she had an extensive amateur boxing career.  She had an amateur boxing record of 53-4, and due to having few to compete with in the amateurs she turned pro in 2023.


On April 22, 2023, in Hermosillo, Mexico, Zamorano, 108,  made her pro debut, she won the bout by a third round TKO [1:16}, over Isabel Arellanes, 110 ¼, who was also making her pro debut. The bout was scheduled for four rounds.

On June 17, 2023, in her second pro bout, that took place in Hermosillo, Mexico, Zamorano fought Sandra Paola Chairez, 105 ¾, who was making her pro debut.   Zamorano won that bout by a four-round unanimous decision. The final judges scores were 40-36 on all cards.

On July 29, 2023, Zamorano, 104 ¾, she won a four-round unanimous decision over Keren Mendez Ochoa, 105 ¾, where she won a four-round unanimous decision. Judges scores were 40-35, 40-35, and 40-35.

On September 9, 2023, at the Arena Sonora, Hermosillo, Mexico, Zamorano, 102 ½, won a close four-round majority decision over   Danna Frayre Gutierrez, 103 ½.   The final judges scores were 40-36, 38-38, and 39-37.

On October 6, 2023, at the Arena Sonora, Hermosillo, Mexico, Zamorano, 105 ¾,  won a six-round unanimous decision over Sandra Paola Chairez, 105 ¾. 

In Zamorano’s last fight in 2023, Zamorano, 103, fought Sabrina Persons, 105 ¾, winning over Persons by a six-round unanimous decision. The final judges scores were all 60-54.

On March 9, 2024, in Mexico, Zamorano, 105 ½,  won a six-round split decision over Karla Alvarado, 105 ½. Scores were 58-56, 58-56, and 56-59.

On April 20, 2024, in Hermosillo, Mexico, Zamorano, 105 ¼, won a six-round unanimous decision over Karla Sanchez Barrera, 105 ¼. Scores were 60-54 on all cards.

On July 27, 2024, in Tiaxcala, Mexico, Zamorano, 105 ¾, won a six-round split decision over Melanie Fernanda Sarmiento Minor, 104 ½.  Scores were 58-56, 58-56, and 56-58.

On October 12, 2024, in Hermosillo, Mexico, Zamorano, 94 lbs., won her first 10 round unanimous decision over Norj Guro, 101 ¾. The two fought for the WBC International Atom championship.

On January 25, 2025, in San Luis Potosi, Zamorano, 105 ¾, won an eight-round unanimous decision over Yoselyn PerezLopez, 105 ¾.  Judges scores were 78-73, 77-74, and 79-72.

On June 14, 2025, in Hermosillo, Mexico, Zamorano, 101 ¾, won the WBC (Interim World Atom title over Mika Iwakawa, 101.  Scores were 100-90, 98-92, and  100-90.

On October 25, 2025, in Hermosillo, Mexico, Zamorano, 101 ¾, on a ten-round unanimous decision over Sana Hazuki, winning the WBC Atom Championship, becoming the youngest WBC World champion.  Final judges scores were 100-90 on all cards.

(FEB 22)  Last night at the Palenque Expo Gan in her hometown of Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, Camila "La Magnífica" Zamorano,  18 years old, weighed in at 102.7, successfully defended her WBC World Atomweight Championship for the second time.  She was facing  Argentina's Claudia "C Cuatra" Ruiz,  101.8.in a ten-round bout.   Zamorano is now 14-0-0 (1KO).
