July 12th, at the Korakuen Hall, in Tokyo, Japan, Naoko Fujioka,
112, and Tenkai Tsunami, 111¾, both out of Tokyo, had a ten round
draw. Fujioka was defending her WBA Flyweight title. The final
judges scores were 95-95, 94-96, and 96-95. Fujioka is now 18-2-1

(JULY 1) The 2nd European Games ended in Minsk, Belarus on
Sunday and both GB Boxing and Team Ireland had many medals to
display when they arrived back on home soil. Altogether 317 boxers
including 59 women attended in the European Games from a record
number of 44 nations in Minsk, Belarus.
