Olszewski Wins by Decision December 18, 2010

(DEC 18) Last night at the American Airlines Arena, Miami, Florida, Eileen Olszewski, 110.75,  won an eight-round unanimous decision over Anastasia Toktalova, 109.  The two were fighting for the WIBA and the GBU flyweight International title. All Scores 80-72X3.

Rematch in the Works for Garbatt vs. Mrdjenovich December 16, 2010

(DEC 16) It has been reported in the Canadian Press that WBAN's December 2010 Fighter of the month, Lindsay Garbatt, of Oshawa, Ontario, will be fighting Edmonton's Jelena Mrdjenovich in a rematch.  In November of this year, Garbatt won the WIBA vacant super featherweight title when she defeated Mrdjenovich in a 10-round split.  The two are going to mix it up again on February 4th, in Barrie, Ontario.

Velez to fight Ortega in Rematch! December 10, 2010

(DEC 10) Tonight at the Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas, Ada Velez of Florida, will be fighting Mary Elizabeth Ortega will be fighting in a rematch.  Yesterday at the weigh-in, Ortega weighed in at 116.8, and Velez, came in at 117.3.

(DEC 6) Last night at the ATC Hall, in Osaka, Japan, Japanese southpaw Etsuko Tada successfully defended her WBA minimumweight title by unanimous decision over Amara Kokietgym from Thai. The final judges score cards were 100-90 , 99-91 , 99-91.  Tada's next fight set for April 2011 in Japan VS Ibeth Zamora Silva from Mexico.
