Stadium, in Montreal, Canada, 18-year old boxer Jeanette Zacarias
Zapata, 143 1/4, was critically injured in the ring when she was
stopped the in the latter round of round four by her opponent Marie Pier
Haude, 146.5. The two were scheduled in the welterweight bout for six
rounds.

August 13th at the Montekristo Estates, Hal Luqa, Malta,
“Ice Queen” Lucy Wildheart is set to fight for the WBC
International Featherweight title. She will be fighting
Enerolisa de Leon. The two will be fighting a 10 rounder. In
a second female bout on the card, featherweight Cathy
McAleer will be facing Eva Hrkotova in a six round bout.
Eva has yet to win a pro fight, coming into the bout with a
0-6 record. McAleer is 4-1-0.
