(AUG 30) On Saturday night at the IGA Stadium, in Montreal, Canada, 18-year old boxer Jeanette Zacarias Zapata, 143 1/4,  was critically injured in the ring when she was stopped the in the latter round of round four by her opponent Marie Pier Haude, 146.5. (AUG 21) NEW YORK -Last night at the Sycuan Casino Resort in El Cajon, California, Split-T Management's Kali "KO" Reis made a successful first defense of her WBA Super Lightweight world title facing Diana Prazak in the mainliner where she won by a majority Decision.  The bout was the headline bout of a UFC Fight Pass streamed card. Who is Kellie Harrington

If one would’ve asked about the chances of Kellie Harrington rising to worldwide fame last month, her name likely wouldn’t’ve influenced any live odds today. Her performance at the Summer Olympics has, in turn, changed all that, pushing her from a virtually unknown athlete into the spotlight. Geovana Peres gets first win in Kickboxing

(AUG 18) Former WBO World Light-Heavyweight boxing champion gets her first win in her second kickboxing fight against Gina Gee.The Brazilian born New Zealand citizen Geovana Peres retired from boxing at the beginning of 2021. Amanda "The Real Deal" Serrano to fight August 29th!

(AUGUST 17) On August 29th, at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, Cleveland, Ohio, Amanda Serrano of Brooklyn, New York,  will be fighting a ten-round bout against Yamileth Mercado of  of Chihuahua, Mexico. The two will be fighting for the WBC, WBO and IBO featherweight titles.  It will be featured on the biggest Stage on Showtime Boxing.
 
Two Female Bouts on Card on August 13th

(AUGUST 11) On August 13th at the Montekristo Estates, Hal Luqa, Malta, “Ice Queen” Lucy Wildheart is set to fight for the WBC International Featherweight title. She will be fighting Enerolisa de Leon. The two will be fighting a 10 rounder. In a second female bout on the card, featherweight Cathy McAleer will be facing Eva Hrkotova in a six round bout.  Eva has yet to win a pro fight, coming into the bout with a 0-6 record. McAleer is 4-1-0.
 

Chevelle Hallback Wins by a decision over Logan Holler

(AUGUST 9) On Saturday night at the Whitesands Events Center, Plant City, Chevelle "Fists of Steel" Hallback, 148 1/4, of Plant City, Florida, won an eight-round unanimous decision over Logan Holler,  152.5, of Columbia, South Carolina. Holler has experienced her first professional fight, with the veteran and one of the top female boxers in the sport.

Tonight: Christina Cruz Makes Her Pro Debut

(AUGUST 3) Tonight at the Madison Square Garden Theater,in New York, New York, flyweight Christina Cruz, 111 1/4, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, making her pro debut after a stellar amateur career, won a four-round majority decision over Indeya Smith, 111 1/2, of Dallas, Texas. Final Judges scores were 38-38, 37-39, and 36-40.

Seniesa Estrada Named WBAN's August 2021 Fighter of the Month!

(AUGUST 1) A Special congratulations to Seniesa Estrada who has been named our WBAN August 2021 Fighter of the month. Just recently,  Seniesa Estrada (21-0, 8 KOs) of East Los Angeles, California captured the WBO Light Flyweight World Title by scoring a 10-round unanimous decision victory against Japanese warrior Tenkai Tsunami (28-13-1, 16 KOs).  The fight with Tsunami was a barnburner, and in 2021, Estrada also had another tough bout winning by a ten-round unanimous decision against Anabel Ortiz in March of 2021.
