LAS VEGAS, NV — As we all know, we are seeing
women’s boxing growing at a fast pace. Of course, WBAN wonders why it took so
long. We had talented boxers just ready to have opportunities in the past that
could not even find a fight or be featured on a card no less unless it was on
the undercard, with minimal purses at best.
At this time Women's boxing is experiencing an unprecedented surge worldwide. So
without further ado, check out some of the events going on in the following
months.
In the biggest structural development for the sport, Most Valuable Promotions
(MVP) and Matchroom Boxing officially announced a landmark strategic alliance.
Promoters Jake Paul and Eddie Hearn have united their powerhouse female
rosters—which dictate roughly 90% of elite women's boxing—to end tribal
promotional isolation.
In the Amateur and international program we saw history made at the Glasgow 2026
Commonwealth Games.
Indian Dominance: The Indian national team delivered a flawless sweep in
Glasgow. Preeti Pawar dominated Canada's Scarlett Delgado 5-0 to take the 54kg
Gold, while reigning world champion Jaismine Lamboria defeated defending
champion Michaela Walsh for 57kg Gold. Arundhati Choudhary added to the gold
tally by securing a dominant victory in the 70kg final.

Boxing Hall of Fame event: Takes

on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Orleans Hotel & Casino, in Las
Vegas, Nevada, that is the biggest non-boxing event that takes place in Women’s
Boxing. Laila Ali is the keynote speaker, with 20 IWBHF Inductees, six Special
Award Recipients, and many boxing legends, that include Christy Martin, Layla
