prepares to receive the prestigious 2025 IWBHF Lifetime Achievement Award, it’s
essential to reflect on her illustrious career and the impact she has made in
the boxing community and women's sports as a whole.
Lang's journey into professional boxing began in February 1996 in Germany.
Training under the esteemed Universum Box-Promotion, she showcased her potential
right from the start, winning her first three fights in a gripping fashion, two
of them by knockout. Her tenacity and skill quickly earned her recognition in a
male-dominated sport, allowing her to carve out a path for future generations of
female boxers.

an impressive ten-round fight against Krisztina Horvai, marking a significant
milestone in her burgeoning career.

formidable opponents, including Sonia Pereira and Kathy Williams. Her victory
over Gizella Papp in July 1999 for the vacant WIBF Super Flyweight title was

influencing the next wave of female fighters.

"Leopard," symbolizing agility and strength, she acknowledged that her nature
aligns with being a "true Lady."
