published a story by Team Tammie
Johnson in regards to an upcoming fight she is about to have against
Rita Figueroa on June 26, 2009.
Figueroa said, "The rematch between Tammie Johnson and I, on
June 26th is sure to be a great fight. Much respect to Tammie -
she's tough girl and I am expecting her to come guns blazin'.
The
article states there was talk of a rematch in the Northeast - but
nobody called my promoter with an offer -so we made one, and Tammie
being the fighter she is - accepted. Much respect to her and her
team. Records aside - this is just gonna be a damn good fight!
