(MAR 4) WBAN received a press release yesterday that Natascha Ragosina, 16-0-0 (11KO), will be fighting on March 15, 2008, in Magdeburg, Germany, (Live 11:00 p.m. on DSF) against Teresa Perozzi for the total of seven belts (WIBF, GBU, WBA, WBC, IWBF, WIBA and WIBC.) The event is called “Seven at one stroke".

Ragosina currently owns five world title belts, and hopes to add two more in addition to the belts she is defending.

Team Ragosina said in the release, “The current five-world-title holder is to earn two new belts and thus to get in the Guinness Book of World Records. Famous boxers like Joe Calzaghe - with the most title defences in super middleweight - have already perpetuated their names in the book of the unusual records. Natascha Ragosina would be probably the first female boxer entering the famous records reference book.”

WBAN was aware of the fact that when Giselle Salandy won six-title belts that her management tried to get her in the Guinness Book of World Records but they were turned down for that particular honor.

In a rejection letter dated February 5, 2007, the record management personnel of the Guinness Book of World Records wrote to them: “Thank you for sending us the details of your recent record proposal for 'Winning the Most Boxing Titles in 1 fight'. We are afraid to say that we are unable to accept this as a Guinness World Record. While we certainly do not underestimate your proposal, we do however think that this item is a little too specialised for a body of reference as general as ours. We receive many thousands of record claims every year and we think you will appreciate that we are bound to favour those which reflect the greatest interest. This would essentially come down to how many organisations are involved and there are many in boxing. There have been many unification bouts through the years and this is not of interest to us as a new category. We realize that this will be disappointing to you. However, we have considered your proposal fully; in the context of the specific subject area and that of records as a whole, and our decision is final in this matter.“
