FRIDAY, JULY 13, 1979

I have received an original "Official Souvenir Program" from this fight, and have scanned the brochure for boxing fans!  (Copyrighted to Western Entertainment & Athletic Promotion - T.C.B. Production Presentation)

Some interesting highlights of the fighters  that were listed on this card:

Lili Rodriguez is now a trainer for Bridgett Riley, and her husband, Blinky Rodriguez manages Riley!

Britt VanBuskirk, who was undefeated in the 80's, started boxing again in 1996.  She has since fought Lucia Rijker and other 90's fighters as a professional.

Cora Webber, a twin of Dora Webber, who both have fought off and on for the last 20 years, fought some of the best in the 90's.

Toni Lear Rodriguez, a former World featherweight champion, was Sue TL Fox's opponent on two occasions.  TL Fox defeated her easily at Incline Village in Nevada, and in the State of Utah!   Rodriguez has also lost to Cora and Dora Webber, Lili Rodriguez, Squeaky Bayardo, Shirley Tucker, and others.  It was surprising to TL Fox, when she was researching women's boxing that she ran across a 1993 article where Toni Lear Rodriguez was fighting a 0-2 fighter.  Rodriguez told the commentator in the article that she was an UNDEFEATED FIGHTER with something in the range of 73-0.  By the way, she lost that night in 1993 to the 0-2 fighter....
