January 31, 2024 - Coliseo de Pescaito David Ruiz Ureche, Santa Marta
Shamara Woods won by a first KO over Irina Caicedo.

January 28, 2024 - Casino de Deauville, Deauville, France
Mailys Gangloff, 114½, won an eight-round unanimous decision over Gemma Ruegg, 114½.  The final judges scores were 78-74, 79-73, and 80-72.

January 27, 2024 - Lugner City, Vienna
Lightweight division of  Patricia Lager had a four-round draw with Dunja Bocan.

January 27, 2024 - Footprint Center, Phoenix, Arizona
Gabriela "Sweet Poison" Fundora, 111½, of Coachella, California, successfully defended her IBF Flyweight world title when she  won by a tenth round TKO over Christina Cruz, 111¼, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Fundora won the IBF Flyweight world title over Arely Mucino last year on October 21, 2023, when she defeated Mucino by KO in the fifth round of a ten round bout.

January 27, 2024 - Gimnasio Cristo Vive, Huechurab
Nicole Araya, pro debut won a four-round unanimous decision over Daiana Belen Bondaruk, pro debut, in the bantamweight division.

January 27, 2024 - Pabellon Gines Alenda, San Vicente del Raspeig
Sheila Martinez won a ten-round unanimous decision over Anaelle Angerville.  The two were fighting for the EBU European Featherweight division.

January 27, 2024 - York Hall, Bethnal Green
Journey-woman BS fight:  Laura Pain won a six-rounder by points for a female boxer with 207 LOSSES going into the fight---Klaudia Ferenczi (Box-Wreck doesn't mind reporting these mindless ridiculous contests but will fail to report other boxers fights and accomplishments. LOL Laugh OUT Loud.

January 20, 2024 - Club Juventud Unida, Canuelas
Bantamweight Laura Elizabeth Gomez, 119 3/4,  won a six-round unanimous decision over Dalma Cecelia Alaniz, 120 1/4.

January 20, 2024 - Restaurante Bar Don Juan, Carmen de Apicala
Super lightweight Maria Gonzalez, 140 1/2,  won by a third round TKO over Danna Saldarriaga, 141 1/4.  In a second female bout, Milanyela Viloria, 135 3/4,  won a four-round unanimous decision over Diana Cotrino, 136 1/4.

January 20, 2024 - Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Hollywood, Florida
Elia Carranza won by a second round TKO over Edina Kiss. The bout was scheduled for 8 rounds.

January 20, 2024 - Muhammad Ali Museum, Louisville, Kentucky
Samantha Worthington won a ten-round unanimous decision over Yazmin Rivas, for the vacant UBO Super Lightweight title.

January 20, 2024 - Echo Arena, Liverpool, England
Natasha Jonas wins by a ten-round split decision.   Final judges were 96-95, 93-97 and 96-94. The two were fighting for the IBF World Welterweight title. Congrats to Jonas in a spectacular fight by both Mayer and Jonas and made Women's boxing proud tonight...(by the way, some felt that Mayer won the fight).

January 20, 2024 - Event Center, Floresville
Brittany Ordonez won a four-round unanimous decision over Maria Lemon Garcia.  In a second female bout, Reina Tellez won by a fourth round TKO over Karla Garcia.

January 20, 2024 - Gilleleje Hallen, Gilleleje
Flyweights Sofie Vinther Rosshaug, pro debut, won a four-rounder by points over Evelin Camporeale.

January 20, 2024 - Tonhalle, Munich, Germany
Lightweight Mandy Bohm, 138 1/2, now 2-0-0,  won a four-round unanimous decision in a (more than likely journeywoman bout) over Karina Szmalenberg, 139, (now 14-60-4 (3KO).

January 19, 2024 - Chetumal, Quintana Roo, Mexico
Flyweight Yesenia Gomez won an eight-round unanimous decision over Mariela Valverde.

January 19, 2024 - Pechanga Resort & Casino, Temecula, CA
Cris Cyborg won by a first round KO over Kelsey Wickstrum, in a scheduled six-round bout.

January 13, 2024 - Club Almagro, Jose Ingenieros, Argentina
Maria Sol Baumstarh, 107¼, of Buenos, Aires,  won a ten-round split decision over Leiryn Flores, 107¼, of Caracas, Venezuela.  The two were fighting for the South American Light Flyweight title, and the WBC Latino Light Flyweight title.  Final judges scores were 96-93, 93-96, and 95-94.

January 13, 2024 - Centre Videotron, Quebec City
Leila Beaudoin, 128.5, won an eight-round unanimous decision over Elizabeth Chavez Espinoza, 130.  Final judges scores were 78-74, 78-74, and 77-75.

January 13, 2024 - Verti Music Hall, Friedrichshain
Tina Rupprecht, 102, Augsburg, Bayern, Germany, won a ten-round unanimous decision over Fabiana Bytyqi, 101.  The two were fighting for the WBC Atomweight title.  The final judges scores were 97-93, 97-93, and 98-92.   In a second female bout, Lara Ochmann won a first time KO in the first round over Diana Kulinova.  The bout was scheduled for six rounds.

January 13, 2024 - Royal Arena, Copenhagen, Denmark
Snezana Siljkovic, 112¼, of Belgrade, Serbia, won a four-round split decision over Emma Kirstein Jensen, 110¾, of Copenhagen.  In a second female bout, Elizabeth Oshoba, 125¼, of Nigeria, won by a TKO over Michela Braga, 125.5. The bout was scheduled for ten rounds. The two were fighting for the WBC Silver Featherweight belt. 

January 12, 2024 - Korakuen Hall, Japan
Eri Matsuda, 101 3/4, won a ten-round split decision over Yuko Kuroki, 101 1/2.  The two were fighting for the WBO Atom World title.  Final judges scores were 97-93, 94-96, and 96-94.

January 12, 2024- Showboat Hotel, Atlantic City
Joana Nwamerue, 128½, of Las Vegas, Nevada, won by a third round TKO over Colleen Davis, 130¾. The bout was scheduled for six rounds. 

January 7, 2024 - Cines Callao, Madrid, Spain
Featherweight Jennifer Miranda
of Madrid, Spain, will be facing Lara Altamirano in a ten round bout for WBA Interim World Featherweight title.  Miranda, is undefeated with a 9-0-0 (1KO) record.  Altamirano is also undefeated with a 9-0-1 (0KO) boxing record, from Buenos Aires, Argentina. 

January 6, 2024 - Stadthalle Münster Hiltrup, Münster, Germany
Germany´s Elina Tissen (37) won the vacant World Boxing Federation (WBF) world Featherweight.  Tissen stopped Kenyan veteran Jane Kavulani in round eight, and announced her retirement from the sport immediately after. Concluding a pro career which has spanned almost eighteen years.“Elin The Machine” finishes with a fine 26-3 (7) record, while Kavulani is stopped for the first time and drops to 19-18-5 (7).
Tissen first became world champion in 2008 (GBU), and unified and defended various belts over the years.  In 2021 she won the WBF world title beating another Kenyan, Everline Odero, and made one successfully defense, against Eftychia Kathopouli, before losing the title to Enerolisa de Leon in November of 2022.  She had to wait over a year for a chance to regain her crown, but when it finally came she delivered and retires from the sport on top.
