JANUARY 2022

January 29, 2022 - Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma
Carla Torres won a eight-round majority decision over Pink Tyson in a junior lightweight bout. Torres, 129.6 lbs of Cleveland, OH won by scores of 80-72, 77-5 and 76-76 and now is 7-6. Tyson, 130 lbs of Brighton, ENG is 11-3.

January 29, 2022 - Monaco Hotel & Resort, Villa Carlos Paz, Cordoba, Argentina
Super bantamweight Marianela Soledad Ramirez, 122, won by a first round TKO over Natalia Josefina Alderete,  119¾. The bout was scheduled for ten rounds.  The two were fighting for the vacant South American Super Banweight title.

January 29, 2022 - Hotel Alimara, Barcelona, Cataluña, Spain
Featherweight Eva Cantos had a four-round draw with Karla Marida.

January 27, 2022 - Cambridge Commercial Park, Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
Ellen Simwaka, 121 1/4, won by a fourth round TKO over Gabisile Tshhabalala, 119 1/2.  The bout was scheduled for six rounds.

January 22, 2022 - El Remanso Deportivo Merlo, Merlo, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Flyweight Gabriela Celeste Alaniz,  111 1/4, won by a fourth round TKO over Johana Zuniga, 110 3/4.  The bout was scheduled for ten rounds.

January 22, 2022 - Liceo Fernando Ariztia, Copiapo, Chile
Super lightweight Vicky Quevado, 140, won a four-round unanimous decision over Barbara Velasquez, 140.  Velasquez was making her pro debut.

January 15, 2022 - Palacio de Los Deportes, Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Flyweight Romina Gisel Sosa, 110 1/4, had a four-round split draw with Carolina Ornella Ferrari, 110.  Sosa moved her record to 2-0-4, and Ferrari is now 2-0-2.  According to the news media the fight was a closely fought fight between these two, that ultimately ended in a split draw.  The judges scores were 39-38.5, 39-38.5, and 39-39.

The cards determined a draw but in divided failure, one of the judges saw the visitor winner 39-38.5, another at the local 39-38.5 and the last 39-39. The record of it is now 2-0-4.

January 14, 2022 - Centro de Convenciones Vasco Núñez de Balboa (Hotel El Panama), Panama City
Gabriela Fundora, 112, won an eight-round unanimous decision over Nataly Delgado, 111.  The final judges scores was 80-71 on all cards.

January 8, 2022 - Palacio de Los Deportes, Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Super lightweight Micaela Diaz, 138 ¼, won a four-round unanimous decision over Brenda Lorenzo, 139.


January 7, 2022 - Complejo Multifuncion, Perez, Santa Fe, Argentina
Light flyweight Evelin Bermundez, 107 ¾, won by a third round TKO over Yaditza Perez, 107 ¾. The bout was scheduled for ten rounds. The two were fighting for the IBF Light Flyweight title. In a second female bout, flyweight Roxana Bermudez, 110 ¼, won a six-round unanimous decision over Victoria Benavidez, 110 ¼.

January 1, 2022 - Auditorio Centenario, Gomez Palacio, Durango, Mexico
Super bantamweight Paulina Aparicio Moyeda, 120¼, won by a second TKO over Alexis Martinez, 118¼, pro debut.  The fight was scheduled for four rounds.
