August 26, 2022 - Box-Wreck Alert Story:   Nicola Hopewell was NOT making her Pro Debut when she stepped into the Ring against Claudia Ferenczi on August 26th--Fact!!
Platinum Suite, Bramall Lane Football Ground, Sheffield where apparently the "Godly" BBBofC gave their "blessing" for this snoozefest six round bout between Nicola Hopewell vs. Claudia Ferenczi in this six-rounder.  Full Story  BOXREC had on their Official Boxing Record site, that Nicola Hopewell was making her pro debut.  Yes, the almighty "Godly Powers" of BoxRec, had no previous fights recorded for Hopewell. 

August 21, 2022 - Nova Zbrojovka, Brno
Alexas "Iron Lady" Kubicki, now 3-0-0, of Edmonton, Canada defeated journeywoman boxer Oksana Romanova, now 10-33-1.

August 20, 2022 - The Melbourne Pavilion, Flemington, Australia
Susie Ramadan won over Tomoko Okuda, no details other than Ramadan won.

August 20, 2022 -Coliseo del Sur, Armenia, Colombia
Dayana Reinoso, 122,  won by a second round TKO over Diana Cotrina, 123. The bout was scheduled for four rounds; in a second female bout
Bethy Franco, 120,  won by a third round RTD over Kimberly Segovia, 120, Pro debut. The bout was scheduled for four rounds.

August 20, 2022 -  Jeddah Superdome, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (History First for a female boxing bout

Ramla Ali, 122.5, won by a first round KO over Crystal Garcia Nova, 123. The bout was scheduled for eight rounds.

Samantha Worthington, 139 1/4, now 2-0-0 (2KO) won by a first round TKO over Camille Casson, 0-12-0 (has not won a fight since 2004)....Geez...folks we can do better than matchup like this....But rest assured BOX-WRECK recorded this fight. (lol).

Marianne Ahlborg, 154, now 6-1-0 (2KO) won by a six-round TKO (0:48)  over Katarina Vistica, now 2-21-0 in this  more than likely "Journeywoman bout".  19 losses and 1 win since 2016...what do you think folks?

Stevie Jane Coleman, 146½, won by a first round (0:39) TKO over pro debuter Jesenia Rivas, 146¼. The bout was scheduled for four rounds.

August 20, 2022 - Bogota, Colombia
Viviana Ruiz Corredor, 110¼, won a four-round unanimous decision over Johana Zuniga, 112. 

August 19, 2022 - ABA Stadium, Auckland, New Zealand
Mea Motu won by a fourth round TKO over Thanchanok Phanan. The bout was scheduled for eight rounds.

August 13, 2022 - Gimnasio JCL, Merlo
Gisela Noelia Quintanilla, 117¼, won by a four-round unanimous decision over Maria Luz Echenique, 114¾.  Judges scores were 39-37 on all cards.

August 13, 2022 - Gimnasio Municipal Enrique Mosconi, Cutral Có
Yamila Belen Abellaneda, 135, won a ten-round majority decision over Sofia Alejandra Rodriguez, 133½.  The two were fighting for a local Argentina title.

August 13, 2022 -  Rosecroft Raceway, Fort Washington
Rianna Rios, 118 1/4,  won a  six-round unanimous decision over Moni Trejo, 116 3/4.  Final judges scores was 60-54, 59-55, 59-55.

August 7, 2022 - The Flash Grand Ballroom of the Elorde Sports Complex, Paranaque City, Philippines
Flyweight 4'11" Rica "Baby Dynamite" Aquino, of the Philippines, won by a second round TKO over Erika Ballen, also from the Philippines, who was making her pro debut. The bout was scheduled for four rounds.  Aquino improved her record to 1-0-1 (1KO), and Ballen is 0-1-0. 

August 7, 2022 - San Benedetto del Tronto, Marche
Nadia Flalhi, won a six-rounder by points Mahjouba Oubtil.

August 6, 2022 -  Dickies Arena, Fort Worth, Texas
Flyweight Marlen Esparza, 109, of Houston, Texas, won a ten-round unanimous decision over Eva Guzman, 111 3/4, of Maracay, Venezuela.  Esparza was defending her WBA and WBC flyweight World titles.  Esparza improved her record to 13-1-0 (1KO), and Guzman is now 19-2-1 (11KO).

August 6, 2022 -  Civic Complex, Cornwall
Caroline Veyre, pro debut, won a four-round unanimous decision over Liliana Marisela Borquez.

August 6, 2022 - Estadio Polideportivo Gigante del Este, Neuquen
Abril Argentina Vidal, 174½, won a four-round unanimous decision over Nerina Elizabeth Salafia, 171¾.

August 6, 2022 - El Remanso Deportivo Merlo, Merlo
Maria Magdalena Rivera, 119¾, won six-round unanimous decision over Antonella Shirley Molina, 122. 

August 6, 2022 - Sheffield Arena, Sheffield
Sandy Ryan, 139½, of Derby, Derbyshire, UK,  won a ten-round unanimous decision over the much more experienced Erica Farias,138½, of Buenos Aires, Argentina.   The two were fighting for the International Super Lightweight WBC title.  Final judges scores were 94-96, 92-98, and 94-96. This was a rematch for these two with Farias winning the first bout by a split decision.

August 5, 2022 - Complejo Polideportivo Municipal, Pellegrini
Ailen Sara Ximena Romero, 129¾, pro debut, of Argentina, won a four-round unanimous decision over Maria Catalina Nieva, 129¾. Final judges scores were 40-36, 40-36, and 39-37.

August 5, 2022 - Coliseo Menor de Villa Olímpica , Santa Marta
Angie Paola Rocha, 189½, won by a second round TKO over Indira Perez, 190.5.  The bout was scheduled for eight rounds.  In a second female bout, Francia Elena Bravo, 135¾, won by a third round TKO over Neisi Torres, 136.  The bout was scheduled for eight rounds.

August 5, 2022 -Auckland, New Zealand
 
UK-born New Zealand boxer Michelle Preston wins her second WBA regional title against New Zealand-born Australian boxer Nicila Costello.  The five-time World Kickboxing Champion, Michelle Preston, won her first WBA title in 2007 when she became the first ever WBA PABA Bantamweight champion. 15 years later she wins her...Full Story

August 1, 2022 at the  Commerce Casino, in Commerce
Deseree Jamison, 154, of Stone Mountain, Georgia, won a four-round majority decision over Holly Lawson, of Los Angeles, California, 154. Final judges scores were 38-38, 37-39, 36-40.
