Welterweight Mary Spencer won an eight-round unanimous decision Yamila Esther Reynoso.

Lightweight Maira Moneo, 132 3/4, won a ten-round unanimous decision over Sofia Alejandra Rodriguez, 135.  The two fought for the WBA Lightweight title.   In a second female bout light flyweight Sol Cudos, 107 1/2, won a four-round unanimous decision over Sofia Daiana Mendez, 108. 

May 21, 2022 -  Etihad Arena, Abu Dhabi
Super featherweight Delfine Persoon,128¼,  of Roeselare, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium, won a ten-round unanimous decision over Elhem Mekhaled, 129¼, of Paris, France.  Final judges scores were 96-94, 97-94, and 97-93.  The two were fighting for the vacant WBC Silver Super Featherweight title. 

May 21, 2022 - Escuela de Boxeo Santos Zacarías, Rafael Calzada, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Super bantamweight Lara Altamirano won a six-round unanimous decision over Lilian Dolores Silva.  In a second female bout bantamweight Daniela Barbara Rivero won a six-round unanimous decision over Eliana Vanesa Orecchia.

Super lightweight Chantelle Cameron, 140, won a ten-round unanimous decision over Victoria Bustos, 137 1/4.  The two were fighting for the WBC and IBF Super lightweight title.  In a second female bout super bantamweight Ellie Scotney, 121.5, won a ten-round unanimous decision over Maria Cecilia Roman, 121.5.  The bout was scheduled for the WBA Inter-continental Super Bantamweight title.

May 21, 2022 - Stadion Bieberer Berg, Offenbach, Hessen, Germany
Strawweight Sarah "Babyface" Bormann, of Germany, remaining undefeated as a pro, won a ten-round unanimous decision over Ana Arrazola, of Tlalnepantla, México. Arrazola was deducted one point in the fifth round. The two were fighting for the vacant International IBO strawweight title. Bormann experienced an accidental headbutt in the third round, but Bormann dominated most of the ten rounds of fighting against Arrazola. Final judges scores were 89-100 on all cards. ) Bormann is now 14-0-0 (7KO), and Arrazola is 28-15-3 (14KO). You can view the whole fight at fight24.tv.

Lightweight Maria Dolores Gomez won a four-round unanimous decision  over Gisela Raquel Avalos.

Super bantamweight Juliana Vanesa Basualdo, 122.5, won by a third round TKO over Natalia Josefina Alderete, 120.5.  The bout was scheduled for eight rounds. 

May 20, 2022 - Polideportivo Diego Armando Maradona, Pablo Nogues, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Bantamweight Florencia Ayelen Juarez, 116.5, now 9-1-0 (1KO), of Buenos Aires, won an eight-round unanimous decision over Maria Amalia Mazzarello, 118, now 3-1-0, also out of Buenos Aires. The final judges scores were 78-74, 77-74, and 79-73. 

May 20, 2022 - Coliseo Bernardo Caraballo, Cartagena, Colombia

Bantamweight Ingrid Caicedo, 117, now 3-0-0, won a six-round majority decision over Kimberlin Reina, 118.  Final judges scores were 58-56, 57-57, and 58-56.

There were two female bouts featured on the card.  In one bout, in the battle of the bantamweights, Clothilde Del Ben, 116.5, won a six round unanimous decision over Lydie Bialic, 118.5.  In a second female bout, super lightweight Aurelie Froment, 134.5, won a four-round unanimous decision over Anna Ganova, 128 3/4.

Featherweight Federica Boni, 125, won a third round TKO over Asako Sugawara, 125.5.  The bout was scheduled for four rounds.

May 20, 2022 - Auckland War Memorial Museum, Auckland, New Zealand
Bantamweight Michelle Preston, 116, won a four-round split decision over Holly McMath, 113.5. 

May 20, 2022 - Arena Panama Al Brown, Colon City, Panama
Super bantamweight Nataly Delgado, 126, won by a RTD over Osiris Renteria, 126.  The bout was scheduled for six rounds---Renteria came into the fight with a 0-5-0 record, fighting Delgado who was 8-6-1...Mismatch perhaps?

Lightweight Rhiannon Dixon, won a six-round unanimous decision over Mahjouba Oubil.  Both came in with a 4-0-0 record, with Dixon remaining unfeated with a 5-0-0 record.

Strawweight Mizuki Chimoto, 105, won an eight-round decision over Kaori Nagai, 105.  The two were fighting for a local title.

Deanha Hobbs, 130 1/4, won by a second round TKO over Siriphon Chanbuala, 128 3/4. The bout was scheduled for six rounds.

Featherweight Anaelle Angerville, 125, won a six-round unanimous decision over   Tijana Draskovic, 126 3/4.

Featherweight Brenda Karen Carabajal, 123 1/2, one a ten-round majority decison over Debora Anahi Dionicius.  The two were fighting for the WBO  Interim Featherweight title.

Super bantamweight Mary Romero, 120 1/4, won a ten-round unanimous decision over Maria Cecchi, 121 1/4.  The two were fighting for the EBU Super bantamweight title.

Super welterweight Hannah Rankin, 153 1/2, won by a ten-round TKO over Alejandra Ayala. The two were fighting for the WBA Super Welterweight and the IBO Super Welterweight titles.

Super featherweight Chelsey Anderson, 132 1/4, won by a sixth round TKO over Jessica Juarez, 132 1/4. The bout was scheduled for six rounds.

Lightweight Julia Gabriela Celes, 132 1/4, won a four-round unanimous decision over Gisela Raquel Avalos, 131 1/2.

New Zealand born Australian boxing Champion Nicila Costello wins her fight against Muay Thai fighter Hannah Morgan with her second stoppage in a row.   On the undercard of the two New Zealand born Australian boxers Benjamin Kelleher vs Peter Sa'lesui rematch, the Hawarden, South Island, New Zealander Nicila Costello showed she had the “IT FACTOR” when she stopped her opponent in one minute forty seconds in the first round. Both boxers came in at 52.1 kgs, which shows that size does not matter to gain knockout power. Full Story

Lightweight Bonnie Hunter, 134 3/4, won a four-round unanimous decision over Maricruz Gomez Soto, 132 3/4.

Super bantamweight Segolene Lefebvre, 120, won a ten-round unanimous decision over Melania Sorroche, 120 1/2.  The two were fighting for the WBO Super bantamweight title.

Super middleweight Christina Hammer, 165, won an eight-round unanimous decision over Luiza Davydova.  In a second female bout featherweight Sophie Alisch, 125 1/4, won a six-round unanimous decision over Eva Contos, 126.

Super bantamweight Danna Ponce Bolanos, 121 3/4, won a six-round unanimous decision over Linda Contreras Ibarra, 120 1/4. Fighting for a local six-rounder belt.

Maureen Shea ended a two-plus year layoff outboxing Calista Silgado to a unanimous decision victory.  The scores were 79-73 on two cards and 77-75 on the third, all for Shea (30-2-1, 13 knockouts), who continues her push for a world title opportunity.  “The Real Million Dollar Baby” Shea looked as sharp as ever, despite having not fought since January of 2020. Silgado (19-14-3, 14 KOs) had her moments early on, but it was Shea’s body punching and sublime defensive skills which made the difference.
