September 30, 2013 - Korakuen Hall, in Tokyo, Japan,
5`10 tall super-flyweight Tomomi Takano won over Jeephelyn Delima from
Philippines by TKO in the first round of a scheduled four-rounder.
Super-flyweight Honey Mae Bermoy from Philippines won over Saki Yamada by TKO in the 4th round of a scheduled six-rounder.

September 29, 2013 -  Boxing Factory, Santiago, Dominican Republic
Amanda Serrano, 132,  fought Diana Garcia, 130, stopping Garcia by TKO in the first round (1:13). This is the second fight for Serrano this month when she just fought Kerri Hill in Queens, New York, stopping Hill in the second round by TKO.  One of Serrano's goal is to stay busy---and apparently she is!  *

Julie Tshabalala won a 10-round split decision over Rita Mrwbebi for an South African welterweight title.*

In an eight round superweight bout, Areti Mastrodouka remains undefeated at  with a points victory over Galina Gumliiska.

In a four round featherweight bout, Djemilla Gontaruk, 131¼,  remains undefeated at  with a points victory over late replacement opponent Lisa Schewe, 131¼.

Eileen Olszewski won the IFBA flyweight title, Wednesday night, with a sensational eighth round TKO over Patty Alcivar at the Five Star Banquet Hall in Long Island City, Queens, NY, within eyeball distance, across the East River, from the concrete canyons of mid-town Manhattan. Zsofia Bedo won a six-round unanimous decision over Eva Pakozdi in the super featherweight division. *

Gabriela Busha, 125¾, making her pro debut won a six-point decision over Eva Toth, 121¼, now 0-8-0.  Judges decision 60-54. *

September 22, 2013 - Auditorio San Pablito Lixmquilpan, Ixmiquilpan, Hidalgo, Mexico

Yesenia Castrejon, 107¾, won a six-round unanimous decision over Claudia Romero, 108, now 0-2-0.  In a second female bout, Estefania Fonseca, 104,  won a four-round unanimous decision over Laura Mendoza, 103½, strawweight division.

September 21, 2013 - Coliseo Pedro Julio Nolasco, La Romana, Dominican Republic
Super featherweight Wanda Ozuna won by a first round TKO over Marisol Espinal, making her pro debut. *

September 21, 2013 - Halifax Forum, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
Super bantamweight Lisa Brown, 121¾, won a six-round split decision over Amanda Beaudin, 120. *

September 21, 2013 - Club Sportivo America, Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina
Victoria Bustos, 133¾, won a 10-rounder by points over Ana Laura Esteche, 132¾.  Also Leonela Andino won a four-round unanimous decision over Alejandra Rios in the flyweight division.

September 21, 2013 - Resorts World Casino, in the borough of Queens, New York
Amanda Serrano overpowered an overmatched Kerri Hill in a scheduled six round bout featured on a nine bout boxing card promoted by New Legend Boxing and Old World Boxing in conjunction with W.O.N. Promotions before a raucous, sell-out crowd of New York boxing fans at Resorts World Casino, in the borough of Queens.  The bout, the seventh contest of the evening, lasted three minutes and seven seconds and to attach the label "one-sided" to the contest qualifies as the "understatement of the night." At no time during the one and one half rounds was Hill ever perceived to be the least bit competitive.  Serrano who came to the bout at 135, giving up six pounds to Hill, at 141, charged from her corner at the sound of the opening bell and commenced throwing right and left hand punches to the head and body of her adversary, from her southpaw stance. Hill, in response, commenced to retreat around the ring, effecting a "peek-a-boo" defense, both gloves positioned high on either side of her face, retreating as best she could from Serrano's onslaught. This pattern continued for the entirety of the first two minutes. In fairness, Hill may have, at times, thrown a few punches, but the blows were so ineffective against the ever advancing Serrano, that Hill's attempt at an offense went largely....Full Story by Bernie McCoy *

Roxana Laborde won a four-round
split decision over Gabriela Zapata in the welterweight division.  At this time we do not have the scoring.  Both boxers fight out of Argentina.

September 20, 2013 - Ferndale, Washington
The middleweight women’s bout at the Silver Reef Casino in Ferndale, Washington on Saturday night was neither the main event nor the semi main, but it did create a lot of excitement in the crowd. September 20, 2013 - Auditorio Presidente Néstor Kirchner, Mercado Central, Tapiales, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Ruth Stephanie Aquino, making her pro debut won a four-round unanimous decision over  Lorena Gomez.  Gomez received an eight-count in the fourth round.  The fight was in the lightweight division, no weights at this time.

Marina Isami won a four-round majority decision over Kumi Oishi

September 14, 2013 -  Buenos Aires, Argentina
Florencia Roxana Canteros, 115.5, Buenos Aires, won a six-round unanimous decision over Carla Romina Weiss, 112.5, of Mendoza, Argentina.  Canteros is now 5-4-1, and Weiss fell to 8-2-1.

September 14, 2013 - The Devenish, Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom
Christina McMahon, of Ireland, 120 won by a fifth round TKO over Lana Cooper, 128, of Bargoed, Wales, United Kingdom.

September 14, 2013 - Barrio La Ciudadela, Barranquilla, Colombia
Neisi Torres, 118, won by a four-round unanimous decision over Omaira Suarez, 117. Final judges scores were 40-36, 40-36, and 39-37.  In a second bout, Angela Marciales won by a fourth round KO over Delia Jimenez.

September 14, 2013 - Shaw Centre, Edmonton, Canada

In the semi-main event, Jelena Mrdjenovich won by a second round TKO over Karen Dulin, in a scheduled eight round bout.  According to the news media, took Dulin out by body punches, and her team threw in the towel.

September 13, 2013 - GAP Disco, Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Daniela Bermudez, 115, of Rosario, Argentina, won a 10-round unanimous decision over Judith Rodriguez, 114¾, of Mexico. The fight was a brawl just like the first fight.  The two were fighting for the WBA (interim) Super Flyweight title.

September 13, 2013 - Gimnasio Gil de Castro, Valdivia, Chile
Daniela Asenjo, 114¾,  of Valdivia, Chile, won an eight-round unanimous decision over Natalia Lopez, 119. 

September 13, 2013 - Twin River Event Center, in Lincoln, Rhode Island
Tori Nelson remained undefeated with 7-0-3, when she won by a 10-round unanimous decision over Aleksandra Magdziak Lopes, 10-2-0 (1KO), of Marshfield, Massachusetts for the  vacant WIBA Welterweight title.

September 12, 2013 - Kaltacker, Switzerland
Aniya Seki  won yesterday's WBC Silver super flyweight title fight with a unanimous decision over Liliana Martinez.

September 11, 2013 - Las Pulgas, in Tijuana, Mexico
Sandra Robles won a four-round unanimous decision over Diana Gonzalez in the super flyweight division. final scores: 49-36 all card. The female bout was featured on the first-ever promotion of  former champion of the world Antonio Margarito. WBAN was told the female bout was "Crowd Pleasing". Weights: Sandra Robles, 115, Diana Gonzalez, 113½ . Judges scores 40-36 on all cards.

September 11, 2013 - Sanambin Market Park, Nonthaburi, Thailand
Junior flyweight Kanittha Tungsongtaksin won a six-rounder by points over Rungarun Sithmanopchai.

September 8, 2013 - Geochang Gymnasium, Geochang, South Korea Lee-Jung Yuh, 115, of Ansan City, South Korea successfully defended her IFBA Super Flyweight title when she stopped Kledpetch Lookmuangkan, 115, of Thailand in the eight round by TKO. The bout was scheduled for 10 rounds.  In another female bout on the card, Eun-Hye Lee, 110 1/4,  won a six rounder by unanimous decision over Dorkmaipah Kiatpompetch, 110 1/4.

September 7, 2013 -Auditorio Municipal Milo Martínez de la Rosa, Monclova, Coahuila de Zaragoza, Mexico
Lightweight Iranda Torres, pro debut, won by a fifth round TKO over Rocio Lopez, in a scheduled eight rounder.  In a second female bout, Arlette Martinez, won by a six-point decision over Julia Gamboa.

September 7, 2013 - Arena Nord, in Frederikshavn, Denmark
Cecilia Braekhus, 145½, won by a ninth round TKO over Oxandia Castillo, 146½, delivering Castillo her first loss as a pro.  Braekhus was defending her WBO/WBA/WBC Welterweight title.  The bout was scheduled for ten rounds.

September 7, 2013 -Estadio Luna Park, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Debora "La Gurisa" Dionicius, of Villaguay, Argentina,  won a 10-round unanimous decision, now 14-0-0 (4KO), over Olga Julio, now 15-15-1 (10KO), of Barranquilla, Colombia. The two were fighting for the IBF Super Flyweight Title.

Raja Amasheh won a 10-round unanimous decision over Eva Voraberger for the vacant WBF Super Flyweight title.
     

September 7, 2013 -Casino, Apodaca, Nuevo León, Mexico
Irma Sanchez, 108, now 26-6-1 (7KO), of Jalisco, Mexico, won by a close 10-round split decision over Katia Gutierrez, 18-4-0 (4KO), of Sinaloa, in a 10-rounder in the strawweight division. Final judges scores were 98-96,98-96, 96-98.

September 6, 2013 - Villa Carlos Paz, Cordoba, Argentina
Natalia Vanesa Aguirre, 130¼ and Soledad Capriolo, 130¼,  fought to a six round featherweight draw. 39-39, 38-38, 39½-38½.

Sept. 6, 2013- Arena Jalisco, Guadalajara, Mexico (three bouts)
In a six-rounder,  Magali Rodriguez won by a  majority decision over Marcela Landa;   In a six round flyweight bout Isabel Millan won a unanimous decision over last minute opponent Jazmin Ortega, and in a  four round bout, Alma De la Cruz winning a unanimous decision over Salma Canales.

Sept. 5, 2013 - Riga Latvia
In a super featherweight four rounder, Aleksandra Jasjukevica TKOed debuting Olga Fradkina in the first round.

September 2, 2013 - Cowboys Dance Hall, San Antonio, Texas
Christina Mandy Fuentes, 113.2, won by a four-round unanimous decision over Paola Ortiz, 107.4, making her pro debut.  Erik Esteban Stipnieks told WBAN, "Paola Ortiz out of Houston appeared to be cannon fodder for a contender out of Laredo who was defeated by Christina Ruiz in La Villitia. The bout was four rounds and while Christina Mandy Fuentes won the decision Paola Ortiz added four fifty gallons jet fuel to the Christina v Celena controversy in San Antonio. Compared to the other male bouts where I Omar Gonzales corner set him out to be knocked out down 5 times. Paola Ortiz hardly was a walk over having some moments in her DEBUT against IFBA contendered Fuentes. I have seen some female boxing debuts and this was HARDLY a blow out compared to Maribel Zuritas." Photos
