February 28, 2013 - Estadio Ricardo Saprissa Ayma, San Juan de Tibas, San Jose, Costa Rica
Hanna Gabriel, 151, lost her first professional bout when she was stopped by TKO in the second round, Oxandia Castillo, 150, of the Dominican Republic. The two were fighting for the light middleweight WBO world title.
       

February 27, 2013 - Tokyo, Japan
Kimika Miyoshi scored a minor upset with a split decision victory (77-75,77-76,75-77) over Riyo Togo in an eight round bantamweight bout for the OPBF Title.  Photos of fight by Samart

February 27, 2013- Las Pulgas, Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico
In the main event,  flyweight Kenia Enriquez, remained undefeated with a 5-0 record when she defeated Blanca Reymundo, of San Bernandino, California,  by a unanimous decision (we do not know how many rounds).  WBAN was told that the event was "packed".

February 26, 2013 - Wanghin, Thailand
Light flyweight Katittha Kokietgym TKO'd Lamnammoon Kwanjaisrikot in the third round of a scheduled six.

February 26, 2013 - Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan
WBA Light minimumweight champion Ayaka Miyao won a 10-round unanimous decision over Masae Akitaya. The final judges scores were 96-93, 98-93, and 98-91.   Photos

February 23, 2013 - Little Creek Casino Resort, Shelton, Washington Crystal Morales, won by a four-round unanimous decision over Tammie Johnson.  The fight began early on in a war and continued that pace throughout the rest of the fight.  Boxing fans loved the fight- and both women put on a great show. February 23, 2013 -Deportivo del Sindicato del Metro , Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico
Light Flyweight Jessica Nery Plata, 107,  won a 10-round unanimous decision over Ivonne Rosas, 108. The two were fighting for the youth WBC light flyweight title.  In a second female bout,  there was a disqualification against Ana Aquilina, 105¾, who lost to Cristina Vargas,103½ .

February 23, 2013 -  Club Olimpo, Bahia Blanca, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Alejandra Marina Oliveras, now 29-2-2 (14KO), successfully defended her WBO featherweight title against Dayano Cordero, 10-4-0 (7KO), of  Barranquilla, Colombia, when she won by a 10-round unanimous decision.  

February 22, 2013 - Polideportivo Néstor Kirchner, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Stefany " La Cenicienta" Bizquiazo, 113,  of Las Piedras, Canelones, Uruguay, and Yessika "La Matadora" Munoz, 113 3/4, of Buenos Aires, fought to a four-round majority draw.

February 22, 2013 - Galati, Romania
Klara Svensson won the vacant WBC Silver light welterweight title with a ten round unanimous decision over Kremena Petkova.

February 21, 2013 - Gimnasio Jorge Garcia Beltran, Barranquilla, Colombia
Featherweight Liliana Palmera, now 21-9-3 (14KO), won by a first round KO [1:45] over Francia Perez, now 0-8-0. The fight was scheduled for six rounds.

February 21, 2013- Roseland Ballroom, New York, New York
Keisher McLeod Wells, of Brooklyn, 109, now 6-2-0 (1KO), won a six-round unanimous decision over Jacqueline Park, 110, now 1-1 0 (1KO), of Ontario, Canada. The final judges scores were 59-55, 58-56, and 58-56.

February 16, 2013 - Valdivia, Chile
In a super bantam four rounder, Daniela Asenjo and Maria Rivera fought to a split decision draw.

February 16, 2013 - Hall P Gaspard, Epernay, Marne, France
Amira Hamzaoui, now 8-0-0 (4KO), won an eight-round unanimous decision over Isabelle Leonardi.  Final judges scores were 78-75, 78-76, and 77-75.

February 16, 2013 - Gymnase du Port Marchand, Toulon, Var, France
Lourdes Nunez Garcia, pro debut, won a four-rounder by points over Cynthia Godbillon.

February 16, 2013 - Coca-Cola Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Super featherweight  Sheena Chaney, had a four-round majority draw with Sara Maloy, pro debut.

February 16, 2013 - Queretaro, Mexico
Guadalupe Martinez TKOed Maria Jimenez in the seventh round of a scheduled eight round super flyweight bout.

February 16, 2013 - Gran Arena del Cibao, Dominican Republic Amanda "The Real Deal" Serrano, 126, won by a first round KO over Wanda Pena Ozuna, 126, for the WIBA and UBF featherweight titles in a 10-rounder.  WBAN would like to see Amanda in our own make-a-List opponents for future titles:  Serrano vs.  Melissa Hernandez; vs. Jelena Mrdjenovich; vs. Ina Menzer, just to name a few...In a second female bout, Yaharia Hernandez had little trouble demolishing Luisa Maria Romero by second round KO in their scheduled six round middleweight bout.

February 15, 2013 - Mohegan Sun Casino, Uncasville, Connecticut
Aleksandra Magdziak Lopes, of Massachusetts, won an eight-round unanimous decision over Addy Irizarry, of Hartford, Connecticut.  Final judges scores were 79-73, 78-74, and 78-74. 

February 15, 2013 - Restaurant Gran Mexicano, Guadalajara, Mexico Joselyn Arroyo Ruiz of Guadalajara, won a 10-round unanimous decision over Momoko  "Supernova" Kanda.  Ruiz was defending her NABF flyweight title.

February 15, 2013 - El Forum, Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico
light flyweight Selene Lopez, 105¾,  had a draw with Paloma Lopez, 110¼.

February 15, 2013 - Héroes Potosinos Local No. 302, Matehuala, San Luis Potosí, Mexico
Light welterweight Evelyn Gutierrez, 139, pro debut, won a six-round unanimous decision over Irasema Rayas, 140.

February 10, 2013 - Sturovo, Slovakia
In a four round flyweight bout, Agnes Draxler won a points victory over
Alexandrra Gorog.

February 9, 2013 - Club Atlético Vélez Sarsfield, Buenos Aires, Distrito Federal, Argentina
Ana Laura Esteche, 136¾, of Buenos Aires, won a six-round unanimous decision over Maria Angelica Ruiz, 141, of Concordia, Argentina; Also, in a second female bout, Maria Eugenia Lopez, 131, Buenos Aires, won a four-round unanimous decision over Maria Eugenia Quiroga, 128.5, of Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina.

Strawweight Amara Kokietgym won a six-rounder by points over Angor Tor Yuenyong.

February 8, 2013 - Cordoba, Argentina
Super featherweight Natalia Aguirre won a split decision over Yohanna Belen Alfonzo with the controversial scores of (77-75.5); (77-76.5); and (77-77.5).

Melissa "Little Miss Tyson" St. Vil, 136, of Brooklyn, New York, won an eight-round majority decision ove
r Natasha  Spence, 130 (six pounds lighter than St. Vil?), of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Final judges scores were 76-76, 73-79, and 74-78. 

February 8, 2013 - Club El Ciclon, Santa Fe, Argentina
Daniela  "La Bonita" Bermudez, 113, won a 10-round unanimous decision over Romina Alcantra.  The two were fighting for the interim WBA super flyweight title.  Final judges scores were 99-89, 100-88, and 99-89. In a second female bout, Alejandra Maria de Lujan Rios won a four-round Split decision over Yessika Munoz.
 

February 8, 2013 - Chase Center in Wilmington, Delaware
Melissa "Little Miss Tyson" St. Vil, 136, of Brooklyn, New York, won an eight-round majority decision over Natasha Spence, 130 (six pounds lighter than St. Vil?), of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Final judges scores were 76-76, 73-79, and 74-78.

February 3, 2013 - Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic In a scheduled four round lightweight bout, Lina Milagros Tejada improved her record to with a TKO over debuting Gloribel Perez at 1:21 of the first round.

February 2, 2013 -  Cedarbridge Academy Gymnasium, in Pembroke, Bermuda
In a rematch for the two,  Teresa Perozzi, 158.5,  and Tori Nelson, 158.5 had yet "split" draw after fighting 10-rounds of action in front of over 2,000 boxing fans.  The two were again fighting for the WBC World Middleweight Title---the belt remains vacant. Yazmin Rivas defended her IBF bantamweight title winning a close 10-round split decision over Maria Elena Villalobos. Villabobos came into the fight with three straight losses, but she won favor with one of the judges with a 96-94 score.  The other judges scored the fight for Rivas with 96-94(times two).

February 2, 2013 - Crowne Plaza Hotel, in Albuquerque, New Mexico
Amanda "Boom Boom"  Crespin, 125.4, of Las Vegas, New Mexico, won a four-round unanimous decision over Brenda Gonzales, 125.2, of Moriarty, New Mexico.

February 1. 2013 - ISS Dome, Düsseldorf, NW, Germany
Susi "Killer Bee" Kentikian, now 30-2-0 (16KO), of Hamburg, Germany, won a 10-round unanimous decision over Sanae Jah, 7-1-0 (2KO), of Belgium.  Kentikian won the WBA Interim Flyweight Title. Scores were 98-93, 97-91, and 99-91.
 

February 1, 2013 - Phan Kratai, Thailand
Nongnun Sor Praithong won her debut light flyweight bout with a six round points victory over Kleopetch Lookmuangkan; and Pitza Sor Thipcharden won a six round minimumweight points victory over late replacement and debut fighter Mempho Wor Phor Sukhotai.
