September 30, 2012 - East London, Eastern Cape, South Africa
Layla McCarter, 148.3,  stopped Noni Tenge, 148.2,  in the eighth round by TKO, and won the vacant WBA junior middleweight world title.  At the scales: Mccarter, 148.3, Tenge, 148.2.  The fight was televised on
n SABC TV.

September 30, 2012 - Balneario El Geiser, Hidalgo, Mexico
Strawweight Susana Cruz Perez, 102,  won by a four round TKO [1:38] over Claudia Romero, 102.  The bout was scheduled for eight rounds; in a second female bout, Yesenia Martinez Castrejon, 105, won a six-round unanimous decision over Estefania Fonseca, 105.

September 29, 2012 - Auditorio del Bicentenario, Morelia, Michoacán de Ocampo, Mexico
Zulina "La Lobo" Munoz
, of Mexico, won by a ninth round TKO over Gabriela Bouvier, of Uruguay, in a 10-round title bout for the vacant Silver super flyweight title.

September 29, 2012 - Batesville Armory, Batesville, Arkansas
Kristen Treadway, 115, won a six-round unanimous decision over Savanna Hill, 112.

September 29, 2012 - Estadio Hector Espino, Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico
Flyweight Joselyn Arroyo Ruiz, 109, won by a TKO in the fourth round Maria Guadalupe Guzman, 110. The fight was scheduled for six rounds.

September 29, 2012 - Brunsmick Balibago, Sta. Rosa City, Laguna, Philippines
Strawweight Gretchen Abaniel won a six-round unanimous decision over Christine Latube.

September 29, 2012 - TGA Stadium, Tauranga, New Zealand
Super bantamweight Chanttall Martinez won by a second round KO over Maria Andrea Miranda.  The fight is scheduled for ten rounds, fighting for the WBC Latino bantamweight title..

September 26, 2012- Kawasaki Todoroki Arena, Kanagawa, Japan Bantamweight Kimika Miyoshi of Japan,  won over Yinglek Sithsaithong from Thailand, by TKO at 1:06 in the second round.  The boxing event was scheduled for eight rounds. 

September 26, 2012 - Flyweight Leslie Domingo overwhelmed late substitute Jerry Ann Dura with a first round KO in a scheduled six round bout. In another female bout,  flyweight Norj Guro  won a unanimous four round decision over debuting Luzminda Guido.

September 23, 2012-PRO-GYM Sportcenter, Vienna, Austria
Super flyweight Eva Voraberger, 115, 22 years old, of Graz, Austria, won by a second round TKO [59 seconds]  over Aniko Levai, 113¾,  of Hungary. The bout was scheduled for six rounds.

September 23, 2012 - Sangyo Hall, Kanazawa, Ishikawa, Japan
Flyweight Jessebelle Pagaduan, 106, of the Philippines won by a fourth round TKO over Li Yun Ting, 103¾, of China.

September 23, 2012 - York Hall, Bethnal Green, London
Areti Mastrodouka

In a 10-rounder, Irma Sanchez of Mexico retained her WBF world Flyweight title when she defeated Carina Moreno, by a majority decision.  The judges scores were 97-97, 97-93, and 97-94. 
 

September 22, 2012 - Beaumont Club, Kansas City, Missouri
Junior welterweight Nina Jo Pastena, 143, of Kansas City, Missouri, won by a first round TKO(1:59) over Kylene Westcott, 145.  The fight was scueduled for four rounds.

September 22, 2012 - Indian School, Santa Fe, New Mexico
Super featherweight Amanda Crespin, 128¼, of Las Vegas, New Mexico, son by a first round TKO (33 seconds) over Raquel Olivas, who was making her pro debut.

September 22, 2012 -  Frederikshavn, Denmark
Cecilia Braekhus
, now 21-0-0 (5KO) of Norway retained her three welterweight world titles (WBA, WBC, WBO) when she defeated Anne Sophie Mathis with a 10-round unanimous decision.  Final judges scores were 97-93 on all cards.

September 21, 2012 -  Chumash Casino,  Santa Ynez, California
In a four-rounder, in a crowd pleasing fight Maria Suarez and Abigail Castaneda left it all in the ring as both were trying to stay undefeated. The fight went back and forth and ended in a majority draw. Scorecards read 39-37 for Suarez and 38-38 twice. 

September 21, 2012 -  Lotto Arena, in Antwerpen, Belgium
Delfine Persoon
, now 20-1-0 (8KO), stopped Australian Erin McGowan. in what sounded like a battle between these two through translated websites, Persoon stopped McGowan in the seventh round by TKO when the ref halted the fight. Persoon won the vacant IBF lightweight title.  Short video of stoppage

September 20, 2012 -  Florentine Gardens, Hollywood, California Holly Lawson, 145½, of California, won a six-round split decision over Sarah Kuhn,145½, of Albany, New York.  Final judges scores were 58-56, 56-58, 56-58.  

September 16, 2012 - Club Pueblo Nuevo, Villa Duarte, Dominican Republic
In two sisters fighting on one card, in one bout Amanda Serrano, 129,  stopped Grecia Nova, 129,  by KO in first round; and in a second bout, Cindy Serrano, 129,  stopped Yoseidy Zarzuela, 129,  in the fourth round.

September 15, 2012 - Grand Casino, Basel, Switzerland
Milena Koleva
, 134, of Sliven, Burgaria,  won an eight-round unanimous decision over Nicole Bass, 133, of Switzerland. Final judges scores were 79-73, 79-73, and 77-75.

September 15, 2012 - Plaza Dinamica, Barranquilla, Colombia
Super bantamweight Maria Andrea Miranda, 121,  won by a sixth round TKO over Jenifer Perez, 120.

September 15, 2012 - Guelph, Ontario, Canada
Super Featherweight Natasha Spence TKOed Christine Shergold in the first round of a scheduled six rounder.

September 14, 2012 -  Santiago Del Estero, Argentina
Debuting super featherweights Vareria Gramajo and Soledad Capriolo fought to a four round split decision draw.

September 14, 2012 - Ateneo Juvenil Acción, Santa Rosa de Río Primero, Cordoba, Argentina
Flyweight Romina Elizabeth Alcantara, 112,  won an eight-round unanimous decision over Marta Soledad Juncos, 112.

September 14, 2012 - Shaw Conference Centre,Edmonton, Canada, Melissa "Huracan" Hernandez won by a 10-round unanimous decision over Jelena Mrdjenovich for the WBC Featherweight world title. The final judges scores were 98-92, 98-92, 97-93. Hernandez said, "Jelena hits incredibly hard and she hurt me about six times...but I said all along I'm the best in the world at 126 lbs., and I think I proved it tonight."   In another female bout on the card, Jaime Ward, 130,  won by a four-round unanimous decision over Brandy Badry, 130, with final judges cards were 40-36, 40-36, and 39-37.

September 14, 2012 - Irish Club, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
The much more experienced boxer Julie Gaston, 119¾, now  9-1-0 (4KO), stopped winless boxer from Thailand Pimchanok Ruamwong, 116½, in the second round by  TKO in a scheduled six-round bout.  Ruamwong is now 0-4-0. 


September 13, 2012 -  Thailand
Amara Naktaku
  needed less than two rounds (of a scheduled six) to TKO debut boxer Phailin Sithkongnapa.

September 8, 2012 -
Hard Rock Casino and Hotel, in Las Vegas, NV Melinda Cooper, of Las Vegas,  won by a majority decision over Celina Salazar, of San Antonio, Texas. WBAN was told that the fight was competitive fight and a close decision for the two.

September 7, 2012 - RWE Rhein-Ruhr Sportshalle, Muelheim, Germany
World Boxing Federation (WBF) Women’s World Middleweight Champion Christina Hammer had no problems dealing with durable, but outclassed, challenger Yahaira Hernandez on Friday September 7 in Muelheim, Germany. Hammer won a landslide unanimous decision in front of around 4000 fans at the RWE Rhein-Ruhr Sportshalle.  Both boxers started the fight at a high pace, but it was Hammer, 13-0 (7), who continuously had more success and it was clear early on that she was at another level than Hernandez technically. With quick hands and fast footwork, the defending champion put her challenger under pressure and rarely eased off as she thoroughly dominated the Dominican in every round. ...Full Story

Featherweight Jane Kavulani won a four-round unanimous decision over Nicholine Achieng, pro debut.

September 1, 2012 - Polideportivo Carlos Cerutti, Cordoba, Cordoba, Argentina
Carolina Marcela Gutierrez Gait
e, 121¼, of Cordoba, Argentina, had a six-round split draw with Anahi Yolanda Salles, 121¼, of Buenos Aires, Argentina.   Final judges scores were 57-59½, 58½-58, and 58½-58½.

September 1, 2012 - Gimnasio Municipal Luis Estrada Medina, Guasave, Sinaloa, Mexico
Junior flyweight Jessica Nery Plata, 107,  won an eight-round split decision over Kareli Lopez,
107½.

Brandi Montoya
won an eight-rounder by points over Chantel Cordova.  In a second bout, Amanda Crespin won by points in a four-rounder over DJ Morrison.

Super featherweight Anna Donatella Hultin, of Ystad, Sweden,  won a six--round unanimous decision over  Anna Sikora, of Poland.

, 104½,   won a six-round majority decision over Noriela Paz, 98.

September 1, 2012 - Koenig Pilsener Arena, Oberhausen, Germany
Nadia Raoui, 15-1-1 (3KO), of Herne, Germany, successfully defended her WIBA world Flyweight title over Samson Tor Buamas, 26-3-0 (11KO), of Bangkok, Thailand. Final judges scores were
