May 25, 2012 - Salle Omnisports, Vise, Liege, Belgium
Sabrina Giuliani defended her EBU light welterweight in yet another questionable title bout. She defeated Marianna Gulyas, 134½, by a 10-round unanimous decision, winning by 100-90 on all judges scorecards. The fight was "supervised" by Marco Giuliani, according to Boxrec, which is curious in itself---is MARCO GIULIANI related to SABRINA GIULIANI?
To just rewind a second.....Giuliani first won the "EBU" title when she defeated Eva Marcu of Hungary, on February 18, 2012, at Salle Omnisports, with the same "supervisor", Marco Giuliani. Giuliani's FIRST OPPONENT to win the EBU title, Eva Marcu, had a boxing record that did not look too bad on paper----UNLESS you were to scrutinize it---and see that Marcu never beat one opponent with a winning record. Here is a list of records of Marcu's opponents: 0-3-0, 2-8-0, 2-7-0, 0-0-0, 2-4-0, 0-4-0.
Gulyas, in almost of of her fights Gulyas have fought from a super bantamweight to a super featherweight, with the majority of her weights in the 120's.
