June 30, 2012 -  Torreon, Mexico
IBF Flyweight World Champion, Ava "The Lady of Boxing" Knight, of Chico, California, successfully defended her title against vs. Susana "Toluquita" Vazquez
by winning by a 10-round unanimous decision.  Judges scores were 99-91, 98-92, 98-92.  Also, minimumweight Katia Gutierrez won a 10-rounds unanimous decision over Susana Cruz Perez for the IBF minimumweight title.

June 30, 2012 - Piazza Testi, Argegno, Lombardia, Italy
Super featherweight Daniela De Musso won by a second round TKO over debuter Mariana Lancu. The fight was scheduled for six rounds.

June 30, 2012 - Multiversum, Schwechat, Austria
Flyweight Eva Voraberger, 114½ won a six-round unanimous decision over Claudia Ferenci, 108¼.  Final judges scores 58-56, 59-57, and 58-57.

June 29, 2012 -  on the "Takeover" Professional Boxing Show, at the Rhode Island Convention Center
Kali Reis
, now 5-1-1 (2KO),  won by a four round unanimous decision in what was described as an action-packed bout over Lyneisha Jefferson, now 0-2. 

June 29, 2012 -  Corona, California
In a rematch between TaTina “Little Tyson”  Anderson vs. Lissette Medel, Medel won by a six-round unanimous decision, in what was described as a toe-to-toe battle in the ring.  While Anderson delivered a barrage of hard-landing shots, Medel won the battle...

June 25, 2012, at Korakuen Hall, in Tokyo, Japan
There were two women's bouts on the card.  In what was considered a very close fight, in a super bantamweight bout, Kimika Miyoshi, 118¾, 6-5-1 (2KO), of Kawasaki, Kanagawa, Japan, won by a six-round split decision over Tsubasa Tenku, 119½, of Tokyo, Japan. Final judges score ware 58-57, 57-58 and 56-58. In the second female bout on the card, Riyo Togo, 118¾, of Tokyo, 8-2-1 (8KO) by a (1:50) fourth round TKO of a scheduled six-rounder over Miki Kikukawa, 118½, of Nagoya, Aichi, Japan. Kikukawa controlled most of the fight, but in the fourth round where the fight was stopped, Kikukawa was knocked down by Togo, with a heavy straight right. Kikukawa's record fell to 10-11-0 (1KO). , 119.5, of San Antonio, Texas, and Nohime Dennisson, 119, in Albuquerque, New Mexico fought to a four-round majority Draw. 

June 23, 2012 - Gimnasio Miguel Hidalgo, Puebla, Mexico
There were two female title bouts on the card. In one bout, Esmeralda Moreno, 107, won a 10-round unanimous decision over Naomi Togashi, 107.5. Moreno is the new WBC light flyweight world title. In the second bout, Yazmin Rivas, 1117¾, won a 10-rounder over Nydia Feliciano, 116¾. The two were fighting for the IBF bantamweight title. Final judges scores were 100-90, 98-91, and 97-93.

June 23, 2012  - Estadio Cr. Gaston Guelfi/ Palacio Peñarol, Montevideo, Uruguay
Light welterweight Chris Namus won a 10-round unanimous decision over Adriana Salles.  In a second female bout, super featherweight Paola Ibarra, won a four-rounder by points over Daiane  Ribeiro.

June 23, 2012 - Sala de Armas de la Magdalena Mixhuca, Iztacalco, Mexico
Strawweight Victoria Argueta, 103½,  won by a first round [1:33] KO in a 10-round bout over Magdalena Leija, 105¼,  for a local Mexico strawweight title.

June 22, 2012 -  Shaw Conference Centre, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Jelena Mrdjenovich, 129¾ who had opponents fall out before this bout, fought long-time veteran  Belinda Laracuente, 130¾ in an non-title eight rounder.  Final judges scores were 80-72, 79-73, 80-72.   In a second female bout, Brandy Badry UD4 over Maria Bastasin.

June 16, 2012 - Estadio F.A.B., Buenos Aires, Argentina
Erica Anabella Farias won by a first round TKO over Irma Balijagic Adler. Adler was first knocked down in the first round and then when Farias kept the pressure on the ref stopped the fight.

June 16, 2012 -Elías Chegwin, Barranquilla, Colombia
Enis Pacheco
, 134¾, of Columbia, won a 10-round majority decision over Ana Laura Esteche,133¾, of Argentina. The two were fighting for the WBO Lightweight title. Final judges scores were 97-93, 95-95, and 96-95.
 

June 16, 2012 - New York
 Sarah Kuhn, 144.5, Albany, ranked #12 by BoxRec, added a respectable name to her win column by scoring a majority decision over Adelita Irizarry, 145, Hartford, ranked #7 by BoxRec, in a closely contested six round bout at Ares Promotions Fight Night IX.  It was a tale of two fights. Kuhn, who needs room to punch, fought well off of her back foot and connected with stiff jabs and right crosses from long range in rounds one, four, and five. Kuhn evaded Irizarry’s attacks by moving away forcing the slower footed Irizarry to follow her.   Full Story by Mark Jones

Holly Holm
, 146, of New Mexico,  won by a 10-round unanimous decision over Anne Sophie Mathis, 145.5, of France.  Holm won the WBF, IBA, and WBAN welterweight world title.

June 14, 2012 -  Roseland Ballroom, in New York, NY
Heavyweights Sonya Lamonakis, 234, 6-0-2 (1KO), fought to a six-round split draw with Tiffany Woodard, 198, 4-6-3. Final judges scores were 58-56, 56-58, and 57-57.

June 10, 2012 - Auditorio Municipal, in Chiapas, Mexico
Susana Cruz Perez
, 102.5, now 11-4-0 (6KO), fought a pro debuter Jovana Sanchez, 104, stopping the newcomer 1:42 in the first round. The fight was scheduled for six rounds. Why a pro debuter would be fighting someone with 15 bouts on their record, and for six rounds is questionable  Also, bantamweight Roxana Alanis, 117,  2-1 won a four round unanimous decision over debuting Lucrecia Alarcon, 116.

June 9, 2012 -  Estadio Pedro Estremador, San Carlos de Bariloche,  Argentina
Alejandra Olivieras
, 126,  won by RTD in the sixth round over Diana Ayala, 125, in a scheduled 10-round bout for the WBO Featherweight title.

June 8, 2012 - Woodhaven, New York
Super flyweight Patricia Alvicar won a four round unanimous decision over Vanessa Greco.  Martin Snow reported the following: 'In a clash, literally, of former NY Golden Glove champs, Patricia Alcivar def Vanessa
Greco in a four round super flyweight bout. Greco, attempting to force the action inside on the taller Alcivar, failed, by scores of 40-36 on all three judges scorecards. The combination of Greco's aggressive and Alcivar's crowd-pleasing style led to several incidental head butts, resulting in both fighters receiving stitches after the bout. The win brings Alcivar's record to 6-1, while Greco evens out her record at 1-1-1.'

June 7, 2012- Polonco, Mexico
Minimumweight Guadalupe Ramirez 4-1 won a four round unanimous decision over Momoko Kanda 4-5-2, and Flyweight Vanesa Santiago a four round unanimous decision over last moment substitute, debuting Georgina Becerril.

June 6, 2012 - Suwon, South Korea
Bantamweight Hee-Jung Yuh KO'd debut fighter Nongburi Monsonggym in the third round of a scheduled six.

June 5, 2012 -  Sturovo, Slovakia
In a six round bantamweight bout, Anita Forgacs won an unanimous decision over Kamilla Hajas. And in a six round super bantamweight bout, Mairianna Gulyas prevailed by unanimous decision over Gabriella Vicze.

June 3, 2012 - Mansfield, Austrailia
Featherweight Shannon O'Connell won a fifth round TKO over Ploysuay Sakrungruang in a scheduled six rounder.

June 3, 2012 - Mansfield Tavern, Mansfield, Queensland, Australia
Super featherweight Sabrina Ostowari, 131¾, former amateur stopped Belinda Sedgwick, 129½, of Sydney, Australia, by TKO in the first round (0:42). The fight was scheduled for four rounds. About Ostowari... Southpaw Sabrina Ostowari, 31 years old, making her pro debut on June 3, was a former amateur boxer who did not make it to the Olympics. According to the Couriermail.com website, they wrote, "Ostowari missed her chance to compete at the Olympics after losing by one point in the National Championships in February but will make her professional debut next month." Under the tutelage of Coach Chris McCullen, he has full confidence in Ostowari as a fighter entering the pro arena. He described her as a gifted boxer, with great skills and has power when she fights---which apparently she has proven that fact after stopping Sedgwick less than a minute in the first round.

in a four round featherweight four rounder between two debut boxers, Monica Rios prevailed by unanimous decision over Beatriz Valerio.

June 2, 2012 - Herning Kongrescenter, in Herning, Denmark
Cecilia Braekhus
, 146¼, successfully defended her three world titles (WBC, WBA, and WBO Welterweight titles) against Jessica Balogun, 146¾. Final scores were 97-93, 97-93, 99-92.

June 2, 2012 -  Brooklyn, New York
In a four round bantamweight bout, debut boxer, Jenniifer Santiago won a unanimous decision over Mikayla Nebal 0-2.

June 2, 2012 - Guadalajara, Mexico
Irma Sanchez 1 won a split decision over Ibeth Zamora Silva for the WBF flyweight title.

June 2, 2012 - Explanada Municipal, Tepeji del Rio, Mexico
Monica Rios
