As predicted Alys Sanchez 9-0-1 (4KO),  had little trouble dispatching her debuting super flyweight debuting opponent Adina Knowles with a second round TKO. Carolina Alvarez with over 15 fights,  had even less trouble dispatching her flyweight debuting opponent Aneth Morgan with a first round KO.

February 28, 2012- Sturovo, Slovakia
Bantamweight Julia Kiss won a four round points victory over Zsanett Lacko, who is still winless. In a six round featherweight bout, Renata Domsodi KOed Eva Polgar  in the third round.

February 25, 2012 - Olympic Coliseum of the University of Guadalajara, Mexico
In an epic combat, that maintained the attendants at the edge of their seats that were present last night at the Olympic Coliseum of the University of Guadalajara, Monterrey's Arely "Ametralladora" Mucino recovered her condition as world champion after defeating San Francisco, California's Melissa "Mighty" McMorrow with a 10-round split decision.  Also, super flyweight Isabel Millan won a six-round unanimous decision over Vanesa Santiago; flyweight Martha Reyna won a four-round unanimous decision over Lorena Arias; and bantamweight Cecilia Roman won a four-round unanimous decision over Salma Canales. Elizabeth Zamarripa
won by a (1:23 seconds) seventh round TKO over Rosa Alvarez.

February 25, 2012 -  Arena Mexico, in Mexico City, Mexico
Mariana "Barbie" Juarez
won by a fifth round stoppage over Russian's Anastasia Toktaulova. Juarez, of Mexico City was defending her WBC flyweight title, the fight was scheduled for 10 rounds.

February 25, 2012 - Arena Chololo Larios, Tonala, Jalisco, Mexico
Super flyweight Gabriela Velazquez won a four-round unanimous decision over Guadalupe Santoyo.

February 25, 2012 - Sternensaal, Berne, Switzerland
Lightweight Loli Munoz had an eight round draw with local boxer Nicole Bass.

February 25, 2012 - the Expo-Hallen, in Roeslare, Belgium
Hometown boxer from Belgium, Delfine Persoon, 133½, won by a fifth round TKO over Lucia Morelli, 132¼, of Offenberg, Germanay, for the WIBF lightweight title.

February 24, 2012 - Entertainment Centre, Hurstville, New South Wales, Australia
Featherweight Natasha Bremer, 123¼, now 1-1-0 (1KO), won by a first round (56 seconds) TKO over Belinda Sedwick, 126, pro debut.

February 24, 2012 - Flemington Pavilion, Australia
Susie Ramadan
of Australia won a 10-round split decision against Alesia Graf.  WBAN received news that the fight was an action-packed bout---with Ramadan saying after the fight that her opponent fought dirty at times.

February 24, 2012 - Hamburg, Germany
Featherweight Marietta Kowalczyk 1-1 picked up her first win with a unanimous four round decision over Hanna Hornakova 2-5.

February 24, 2012 -Dover, Delaware
Ronica Jeffrey, still undefeated won by a four-round unanimous decision over Evette Collazo.

February 24, 2012 - Doubletree Hotel, Ontario, California
On the undercard, 
Cindy Amador, 107, remained undefeated and is now 7-0-0, when she won a four-round unanimous decision over Gloria Salas, 108, now 3-7-1 (3KO). 

February 21, 2012 -  Korakuen Hall, in Tokyo, Japan
Yuko Henzan
won by 4th round KO over Misato Hanya.  The two were scheduled to fight at super flyweight in an four round bout. Hanya was knocked down twice in round 4. 

February 19, 2012, at Yomiuri Culture Hall, in Osaka, Japan
There were seven women bouts on the card. Etsuko Tada defended her WBA 105-pound title, winning a unanimous decision over Maria Salinas.  The judges score cards were 97-93, 97-93, 96-94;  Mari Ando won by a unanimous decision over Cuca Jimenez.  Ando defended her WBA 102-pound title.  100-90, 99-91, 98-92; Ayaka Miyao won by a eight round unanimous decision over Masae Akitaya.  78-76, 77-76, 77-76;   Go Shindo won over Nongtak Oh Kunjahuaykwang Gym by TKO in the 2nd round of a scheduled eight round flyweight bout; 102-pound Nahoko Tanaka won by a four round unanimous decision over Momoko Kanda; Super flyweight Maho Tamamori and Asako Tamamori fought to a four round draw; and Tamao Ozawa won over Tomoko Chiba by TKO in the 2nd round of a scheduled four round Super flyweight bout.  Samart

Feb. 18, 2012 - La Trinidad, Philippines
Jujeath Nagaowa
won the WBC minimumweight Asian Title by TKO over Aisah Alico. No round listed for the TKO.

February 17, 2012 -Mulungushi Conference Centre, Lusaka, Zambia Esther Phiri, from Lusaka, [rated #3 with boxrec] won the WIBA and the IBO Junior Welterweight title when she stopped Monolisa Sibanda, [unrated on Boxrec] also from Lusaka by a seventh round KO, in a 10 round bout.  Sibanda is now 4-4-0 (0KO).  Phiri improved her record to 13-1-2 (5KO).

February 17, 2012 - Cicero, Illinois
Amanda "The Real Deal" Serrano
, 128, won an eight round unanimous decision over Ela "Boom Boom" Nunez, 125. WBAN was told that this was a battle between these two, and judging from the aftermath photo sent into WBAN of these two---there is little doubt that it was a war! Full Story

February 17, 2012 - Centro de Espectaculos Modelo, Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico
Carol Madrid, pro debut,  won by a first round KO over Maria Medina. The fight was scheduled for four rounds.

February 17, 2012 - Southport RSL Club, Southport, Queensland, Australia
Sarah O'Connell
, 123½, won a six rounder over Jasmin Ward, 121, for a local Australian Queensland featherweight title. O'Connell now is 1-1-0, and Ward is 1-1-0.  Both boxers are from Australia.

February 16, 2012 - Costa Mesa, California
Super flyweight Abigail Castaneda 2-0, won a four round unanimous decision over Maria Ruiz, now 0-5-2.

February 11, 2012 - Braamkamp 1, Hamburg, Germany
In a six rounder Maria Lindberg won a unanimous decision over Diana Kiss. Lindberg improved her record to 6-1-2 (1KO), and Kiss fell to 7-6-1 (6KO).  In a second bout, Klara Svensson won a six-round unanimous decision over Angel McKenzie.

February 11, 2012 -  Deportivo del Sindicato del Metro , in Mexico City, Mexico
 Maria Elena Villalobos
, now 12-5-1 (5KO), defeated Blanca Cueto [aka?: Blanca Cotto] that has a supposed and unsubstantiated record of 11 fights (only a close reported figure)

Tori Nelson
of Ashburn,  won a 10-round unanimous decision over Vashon Living for the WIBA Middleweight World title.

February 11, 2012 - Ditzingen, Germany
Super featherweight Leonie Giebel won a four round points victory over late opponent Tanja Hengstler.

February 11, 2012 - Hamburg, Germany
Light welterweight Klara Svensson won a six round unanimous decision over Angel McKenzie.

Flyweight Eva Voraberger won a six round split decision over Claudia Ferenci. Voraberger was a late recruited opponent.

Anahi Torres
successfully defended her WBC Youth female minimumweight title against Ivonne "Chiquita" Rosas when she won by a 10-round unanimous decision. Final judges scores, 96-94. 96-95. 97-93.

February 10. 2012 -Santiago, Chile
Bantamweight Carolina Rodriguez won a four round unanimous decision over late opponent Bettina Gabriela Garino.

February 9, 2012- Panama City, Panama

Two four round bouts. Super bantamweight Jojahiny Ortega  scored a second round TKO over Osiris Reteria;  Maribela Smith won a unanimous decision in their bantamweight bout over late replacement Rebeca Vasquez who was making her debut.

February 07, 2012 - Sturovo Slovakia
In a super bantamweight fight changed to six rounds from the original four; Marianna Gulyas won an unanimous decision over Gabriella Vicze.

February 4, 2012 - Tropicana Hotel & Casino, in Atlantic City, New Jersey
Nydia Feliciano defeated Ela Nunez in a four-round bout by a unanimous decision with scores ending in 39-37.  WBAN was told that the "Crowd went crazy", and that it was the fight of the night.  Promoter of card: Diane Fisher's DeeLee Promotion.

February 4, 2012 - Rio Bravo, Mexico
Yazmin Rivas
won a 10-round unanimous decision over Soledad Matthysse. The two were fighting for the IBF Bantamweight Title; Junior flyweight Jasseth Noriega had a six-round draw with Mandy Fuentes; and junior featherweight Janeth Perez Vigil had an eight-round draw with Magali Rodriguez.

February 3, 2012 - Colon City, Panama
There were three women's bouts on the card:  Alys Sanchez won a unanimous six round decision over Xochilt BarqueroMigdalia Asprilla won by TKO in the first round over Vanessa Medrano; and Abigail Villar won an eight split decision over Yaditza Perez.

February 2, 2012 - Dubai, United Arab Emirate
