March 26, 2011 - Universum Gym, Hamburg, Germany  WBA/WBO/WIBF Flyweight champion Susi Kentikian (27-0-0) returned to the ring after an eight-month involuntary break, caused mainly by the extreme financial difficulties of her former promotion company Universum. Her three world championship belts was on the line against Mexican Ana Arrazola (19-5-3).  It was evident, that Kentikian was highly motivated and eager to get back into action after the long interval, and she didn't need much time to show that ring rust was not an issue for her. She dominated her opponent from the first bell and, apart from a short breather halfway through the fight, she kept the reins firmly in hand to the end of round 10.  Ana Arrazola showed a big fighting heart -  but her deficiency in boxing abilities, was too big to be compensated by her fighting will and determination, when she is facing top opponents. She took some big punches from the champion without blinking, but had difficulties catching a swift moving Kentikian with the long swings, that was her main weapon. Arrazola managed to get Kentikian backed up against the ropes a couple of times, and succeeded in landing some body shots. Kentikian confirmed in the post fight interview, that Arrazola's body blows were powerful and made her take notice.   There was not doubt about the outcome after the 10 rounds.   The judges scored the fight 99-91, 98-92 and 97-92.

March 26, 2011 - Gymnasium, in Jinju City, South Korea
Hyo-Min Kim
, 130, won by TKO over  female boxer Saicon Taichio, now 0-2-0,  for the "Interim" WBA super featherweight world title. The good news is that the Referee stopped the fight in the fourth round---the bad news is that the two were fighting for a world title---which from viewing the video footage of this fight on You Tube, this fight did not measure up to that level in the sport.   Now with that said-----IF Kim and Taichio had been fighting a non-title fight that was a four-rounder or six-rounder, it would have probably been considered a middle-of-the-road bout. Kim did display some interesting skills---but she was much too skillful for Taichio, who had even turned her back slightly in an amateurish fashion in the third round, when Kim was putting the pressure on her with a barrage of combinations.
