Hyun Mi Choi
(of S. Korea), won a 10-round split decision over Claudia Andrea Lopez of Argentina. The two were fighting for the WBA Featherweight title. Final judges scores were 96-95, 93-98, 96-95.

, New Orleans, won an eight-round majority decision over Kita Watkins of Camden, Arkansas. Final judges scores were 76-76, 79-73, and 79-73. This was a rematch for the two of them. Junot won the Texas Welterweight belt.

April 24, 2010 - Duncan B.C.
Exciting World Title action took place last night in Duncan, B.C. Border City Boxing Club's Jeannine “Heartless” Garside, (9-3-1 4KO’s), TKO'd “Lethal” Lindsay Garbatt, (4-3 3KO’s), of Oshawa, ON at 1:24 of the 3rd round to claim the the vacant WIBA Featherweight Title! Garbatt suffered the first stoppage loss of her career.  Garbatt was knocked down three times in the third round. Referee stopped the bout after the third knockdown when Garbatt was unable stand before the count was completed. With the win Garside reclaims the title she lost in a controversial decision in Sarajevo in December 2008. Garbatt was ranked number two in the World and suffered the first stoppage loss of her career.

Etsuko Tada
, 102, had a majority draw with  Ria Ramnarine, 104.  The two were fighting for the WBA Straw / Interim WIBA Straw.

April 24, 2010 -  Herning, Denmark
This night where Vinni Skovgaard  won a six-round unanimous decision over Diane Schwachhofer.  This fight was on the undercard of the Carl Froch vs Mikkel Kessler WBO Super Middleweight bout in the Super 6 series.

April 24, 2010- Alster Sporthalle, in Hamburg, Germany
Susi Kentikian
won a controversial split decision against Nadia Raoui.  The judges scored the bout 96-94, 96-94. 95-96 in favour of Kentikian. The fight was fought at an extremely high pace, and one of the best womens' bouts seen in Germany.  The two were fighting for the WBA, WBO and WIBF flyweight title.  The fight was the main event of the card and was shown on ZDF.

April 24, 2010 - Hotel Playa Inn, Puerto Penasco, Sonora, Mexico
Heavyweight Berenice Cubillas won by a third round KO over Denise Pino.  The fight was scheduled for four rounds.

April 24, 2010 - Tennishalle, Gallneukirchen, Austria
Eva Voraberger, 113,  won by a first round TKO [:57 seconds] over Natascha Vetter, 109.5,  in a scheduled four round bout.

Super featherweights Jennifer Han, 129,  and Crystal Hoy, 129, fought a very competitive four round fight. The fans were cheering on the fighters. Jennifer Han was in control of the fight for most of the rounds out punching Hoy. Hoy seemed to come out slow the first two rounds maybe showing a little ring rust  being inactive for two years, Hoy continued to try to work herself in past Hans long reach but got tagged by Han's jab. Hoy connected a few of her own strong punches resulting in Han's nose bleeding. Hoy's camp said Hoy will probably go down to 126 lb for her next fight. Both Hoy and Han put on a very good fight in front of the Las Vegas fans, hopefully we will see more females on major undercards.. Han won a unanimous decision.

April 9, 2010 - in a province of Thailand
Japan WBC flyweight world champion Naomi Togashi (7-0/4KOs, 34 years old and from Tokyo Watanabe Boxing Gym) fought with the world champion Thai interim Nongmuay Sithkruleor (8 – 1-1/sin victory by KO) for the WBC title unificatory flyweight. Japan’s Naomi Togashi won by unanimous decision in 10 rounds and became the champion WBC flyweight and at the same time came in the fourth successful defense of his title as the Thai Nongmuay Sithkruleor lost his unbeaten. From the early rounds, the puncher Togashi Naomi took the baton of the fight and made a positive boxing blows based on the cross from the right hand. Iin the only female boxing match of Arena Sportspromotion fight night in Schwerin, Germany, It was a tough night for Özlem Sahin (8-0-1, KOs 4), the undefeated minimum weight boxer. Sahin was up against Svetla Taskova (4-28-1, KOs 1). In female boxing, Taskova is like a “gatekeeper” of the lower weight classes - whoever wants to get to the very top has to beat her first.

Featherweight Sonia Edith Paladino, 126, won a four-round majority decision over Veronica Orecchia, 123¾.  Final judges scores were 39½-36, 38-37, and 38½-38½.

Junior lightweight Wendy Roy, 130½ won a four-round bout by points over Sarah Marshall, 135.

Junior flyweight Katia Gutierrez, 103¼, won a six-round unanimous decision over Yesenia Castrejon, 105¾,

In boxing, there are unanimous decisions and then there are UNANIMOUS decisions. Alicia "Slick" Ashley's six round win over a game, but outclassed, Jackie Trivilino on the O'Shea Brothers six bout card at the Masonic Temple in the Fort Greene section of Brooklyn on Friday, April 2, was, assuredly, in the upper case category. The ring announcer's post fight declamation that all three judges scored the bout, for Ashley, 60-54, had a "blinding flash of the obvious" ring to the assemblage packing the floor and balcony.

There were two women's bouts on the card.  In one match, Naoko Fujioka (Japan) won by KO in round two
over Pornboonon Por Vongporramet from Thai. The fight was scheduled for eight rounds. Also,  In another non-title bout, Fujin Raika won by KO in round three over Ramduan Saicam from Thai.  The fight was scheduled for eight rounds.
