On the card, "Rumble in the Red", on the undercard, super bantamweight Rochelle Okoye, 122, making her pro debut,  of New Westminister, B.C, won a four-round unanimous decision over Priscilla Trompowsky, 120.5, Toronto, Canada.  Final judges scores, 39-37, 39-37, 39-35.  Okoye has an interesting background. She is a former amateur gymnast that was on the edge of trying out for the Olympics, but was not old enough due to a rule change, and she also is an aspiring model and personal trainer.

Iva Weston, 178, won a six-round unanimous decision over Margaret “Chico” Walcott [aka: Francis], of Guyana.
According to our correspondent, Walcott seemed glove shy and unprepared while Weston showed no ring rust and was dominant throughout the six rounds. Walcot made Weston's work quite easy as she Walcott very rarely made contact and even while attacking seemed to be flinching. Final scores were 60-54, 60-54 and 60-55 Weston.
