Between two boxers who were not ranked with WBAN, Thai inmate Samson Sor Siriporn defeated Japan's Ayaka Miyano to win the vacant women's WBC light-flyweight title. In news reports they reported that in front of prison guards, photographers, etc.,  that Siriporn, a convicted drugs dealer won by unanimous points over Miyano in a make-shift ring. By winning this bout, Siriporn is able to kick-start parole proceedings for her early release. The heat affected Miyano, who was knocked down twice on the canvas.  Just another senseless, non-meaning world title bout in women's boxing. Judges scores 97-93, 98-92, and 100-91.
