January 30, 2000, Riesa, Germany
Silke Weickenmeier vs. Nadia Debras resulted in a draw  According to Die Rheinpfalz (a German news report) Silke was lucky to get a draw, and that the fight was rated as a slugging match. Weickenmeier and Debras were battling it out for the WIBF featherweight championship.  Weickenmeier is now 8-1-1.    

January 29, 2000 - Indiana
Sue Mullett
(138 lbs) of Burton, Ohio defeated Heather Shoffner (141 lbs) of Indianapolis. Mullett is now 5-4, and Shoffner has a whopping 0-4. Please Shoffner stop boxing and go get another job, or contact this site. TL Fox wants to interview you.

January 26, 2000, Kansas City MI
Andrea Blevins
was apparently in a car accident 3 weeks ago and was not able to fight. Instead, Sherri Thompson of Branson, Missouri won a 6 round UD over Amy Yerkes of Springfield, Missouri.  The fight was a hard fought six-rounder.  

January 22, 2000- Del Mar Racetrack in San Diego, California 
Mia St. John won a four-round unanimous decision over Kelly Whaley. Final scoring was 40-36.  St. John improved her record to 15-0-0, and Whaley fell to 1-1-0.

January 14, 2000, Kansas City, MI  
Carmen Dominquez vs. Kristen Allen (Allen backed out of fight - with a last minute illness) Rumors are that Allen backed out because she was offered a fight with Mia St. John and didn't want to risk suspension) We will see......Sherry Jones Goodson (Arkansas) 100-lb weight class vs. Dianna Nance (Philippines.) Great action fight. Nance controlled the ring for the duration of the four rounds and won by a unanimous decision.  Goodson displayed a good heart and athletic ability, giving it all that she had.  Her arsenal was limited to primarily a right hook to the body, which Nance absorbed easily.  Both fighters used few combinations, relying on single jabs or hooks.  

January 27, 2000 San Marcos, Texas 
Brenda (Drexel) Bell (San Marcos, Texas) vs. Summer Deleon. Bell won by a 4-rd. majority decision. Bell, who went into the fight with a 1-6 record was determined to defeat the tough punching DeLeon. Bell’s record moved to 2-6, and Deleon’s record dropped to 6-2-1.

January 27, 2000 New York City, New York 
Keisha Snow (New York) weighing in at 223 lbs, defeated Bridgett Robinson, who weighed in at 216 lbs. Snow’s record has moved to 3-0, when the fight ended in a TKO of the first round. Robinson was making her pro debut, but had a past amateur background that included being the 1996 NY State Golden Gloves heavyweight champion.

January 26, 2000 -  Kansas City, Mi 
Sherri Thompson (Missouri), (124 lbs) defeated Amy Yerkes(126 lbs), making her pro debut, with a 6-rd. Unanimous decision. Thompson is now 2-1, and Yerkes is 0-1.

January 23, 2000 Venice, Florida 
Junior middleweight Sharice Gray of Bradenton, Florida won a first-round TKO over Renee Martinez in a bout scheduled for four rounds. According to a report in the Venice Gondolier, "Bradenton teenager Sharice Gray jumped all over 32-year old Renee Martinez" and broke her nose. Both were making their pro debut.

January 21, 2000 Indiana
Mary Ortega, Kansas City, MO, defeated Sue Chase with a four-round unanimous decision.. Ortega moves to 12-0, and Chase drops to 1-21-1. WBAN wants to encourage Chase to stop boxing. Or re-evaluate her boxing training.

January 21, 2000 Oroville, California
Kelsey Jeffries ( California) defeated Lisa Lewis of  (California) by a 4-rd unanimous decision. Junior lightweight division. Lewis was making her pro debut and is now 0-1. Jeffries is still undefeated with 4-0.

January 21, 2000 Kiev, Ukraine
Alina Shaternikova (Ukraine) defeated Tatiana Bahonova (Ukraine) in a flyweight 4-round bout, by a unanimous decision.

January 14, 2000 Clearwater, Florida
Tinitia Austin, (Florida) defeated Kimberly Sykes (Florida) with a 4-round unanimous decision.

Tinitia Austin vs Kimberly Sykes. Austin making her pro debut won by a unanimous decision. (4 round bout)

January 13, 2000, Hartford, Connecticut
Elizabeth Mueller vs. Anne Koenig (132 lbs class Mueller wond her pro debut with a 3rd rd TKO. vs Kimberly Sykes. Austin making her pro debut won by a unanimous decision. (4-round bout)

January 13, 2000, St. Louis, Mississippi
Kendra Lenhart  vs. Lisa McQueen
