Tammara Amanda "Tamm" Thibeault
is a world-renowned Canadian professional and amateur boxer who
has rapidly scaled the heights of the middleweight division.
Born on December 27, 1996, in Saint-Georges, Quebec, and
fighting out of Shawinigan, she stands 6 feet tall and operates
as a highly technical southpaw. Thibeault is signed to Jake
Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) and made history as the
unified world champion in just her fifth professional bout.
Outside of the ring, she holds a bachelor's degree in
linguistics and a master's degree in urban design and planning
from the University of Sheffield.
Amateur
Accomplishments
Before transitioning to the paid ranks, Thibeault compiled one
of the most decorated amateur résumés in Canadian boxing
history. She competed across the globe, establishing herself as
the top amateur middleweight in the world. Her core achievements

2017 Pan American Championships:
Gold medalist in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, marking her first major
senior international triumph;
2018 Commonwealth Games:
Bronze medalist in Gold Coast, Australia;
2019 Pan American Games:
Upgraded to a Silver medal in Lima, Peru, following a doping
disqualification of the initial finalist;

AIBA Women's World Championships:
Bronze medalist in Ulan-Ude, Russia;

2020 Olympics:
Reached the quarterfinals in the 75kg division, matching
Canada’s historic best-ever Olympic performance in women's
boxing;

IBA Women's World Championships:
Gold medalist in Istanbul, Turkey, defeating Atheyna Bylon to
become the amateur middleweight world champion;

Commonwealth Games:
Gold medalist in Birmingham, England, becoming the first
Canadian woman ever to win a Commonwealth boxing title;
2023
Pan American Games:
Gold medalist in Santiago, Chile, which officially qualified her
for her second Olympic cycle;

2024 Olympics:
Represented Team Canada as a two-time Olympian; Also,
following her initial pro bouts, she uniquely continued
competing in high-level open amateur events, securing a Canadian
amateur title in November 2025 and a Silver medal at the Boxing
World Cup in Guiyang, China, in June 2026. WBAN is not
for any pro boxers fighting in the amateurs once they turned
pro.
Thibeault made a seamless transition to professional boxing,
fast-tracking directly into world title contention.
On December 13, 2024, at the Caribe Royale, in Orland, Florida,
Tamm won the bout by a four-round unanimous decision over
Natasha Spence.
She made her pro debut under the MVP Banner.
Professional
debut under the MVP banner. Thibeault fought three minute rounds
in her pro debut. This is claimed as the first female
to make a pro debut with three minute rounds. This is

pro debut was scheduled as four rounds, three minutes per rounds
in 1976. Tamm won the bout with final scoring of
40-36 on all cards.
In her second
pro bout, she fought on March 7, 2025, winning the bout by a
first round TKO over Sonya Dreiling. The fight took place
at the Toronto Casino Resort, in Toronto, Ontario. The bout was
scheduled for six rounds.
In her third pro bout, she again won by a TKO in the fifth round
over Mary Casmassa. This bout took place at the Madison
Square Garden, in New York City. This bout was a
featured high-profile undercard of the Taylor vs. Serrano third
bout.
In her fourth pro bout, she won by a first round TKO over
Cristina Mazzotta. The bouth took place on September 27, 2025,
at the Theatre Saint-Denis, in Montreal, Quebec. The bout
was scheduled for eight rounds.
On August 8, 2026,
at the Caribe Royale, Orlando, Florida, she won a loop-sided
bout with Desley Robinson who was defending her IBF and WBO
middleweight world titles. WBAN had Tamm winning all ten
rounds in this fight. Judges had the bout scored 100-90,
100-90, and 100-90 on all scorecards.
With this fifth victory, Thibeault captured the IBF, WBO, and
the vacant Ring Magazine middleweight world championships.

winning the linear Ring belt in just her fifth pro bout,
she set a historic boxing record as the fastest fighter in
history to capture that specific title.
