5'3" bantamweight LeAnna Cruz was
born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, made her pro debut on September
10, 2021.
On that date, Cruz, 115 1/4, made a successful pro debut with a
four-round unanimous decision over Delaney Bailey in a bantamweight
bout.
In round one, Cruz dropped Bailey. Cruz boxed smoothly over the next
three rounds and won by scores of 40-35 on all cards.
In her second pro fight
at the Wind Creek Events Center, in
Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Cruz,113, of Allentown,
Pennsylvania, won a four-round unanimous decision over Anyela
Lopez, 115.
After the fight, Cruz said on her social media, "All praise to
the most high for keeping me and my opponent safe in the ring
tonight. She was a bigger and tough girl. I’m honored to share
the ring with a woman with such experience and a winning
record."
In her third pro bout, she fought Lilian
Almarez, 114, who was making her pro debut. The bout took
place at the Fillmore, in Pennsylvania. Cruz won the
four-rounder by a unanimous decision.
On May 11, 2023, at the 2300
Arena, in Philadelphia, LeAnna Cruz, 113¾, of Allentown,
Pennsylvania, won a six-round unanimous decision over Devany
Cuevas Torres, 113¾. In a second female bout Oshae Jones, 147¾,
won a six-round unanimous decision over Dahianna Santana,147¼.
On April 29, 2023, at the 2300 Arena,

Philadelphia,

On May 11, 2023, at the 2300 Arena,
in Philadelphia, Cruz, 113 3/4, won a six-round unanimous
decision over Devany Cuevas Torres, 1133/4. In a second female
bout Oshae Jones, 147¾, won a six-round unanimous decision over Dahianna
Santana,147¼.
On August 18, 2023, at the
Overtime Elite Arena, in Atlanta, Georgia, flyweight LeAnna
Cruz, 111 1/4 remains undefeated after defeating Maryguenn
Vellinga, 111 1/2, by a six-round unanimous decision.
On November 12, 2023, LeAnna Cruz captured her first
title as she won the NABF Super Flyweight title with an emphatic
eight-round unanimous decision over Rania Walters.
Cruz moved around the ring with grace and landed slick
combinations which led to a win by scores of 79-73 twice and
78-74.
Cruz of Allentown, PA is now 7-0. Walters of Toronto is 4-3.
On March 30, 2024, at the
Harrah's Philadelphia,in Chester, Pennsylvania,
Super Flyweight LeAnna Cruz, won a six-round unanimous decision
over Josefina Vega. Final judges scores were 60-53 on all cards.
