5'6" Super featherweight Alycia "The Bomb" Baumgardner born on May 24, 1994,  She began boxing professionally in 2017.  She currently holds the WBC and IBO super featherweight titles since November 2021.  She is signed currently to Matchroom Boxing. [photo credits:  Matchroom Boxing].

A summary of her professional bouts are the following:  On March 3, 2017, Baumgardner made her pro debut, when she fought at the Hollywood Casino, in Columbus, Ohio. She fought Britain Hart, 126, in a four-rounder where she won by a first round TKO.

In the same month she fought in another four-round bout on March 26, 2017, at the Ford Community Center, Dearborn, Michigan.   Baumgardner, 137 3/4, won by a first round TKO over Wendy Toney, 134 1/4.

On June 30, 2017, at the Huntington Center, in Toledo, Ohio, Baumgardner won by a first round TKO over Lashanda Tabron in a scheduled four-rounder.

On August 28, 2017, she fought at the DeCarlo's Convention Center, Warren, winning by a first round TKO over Wendy Toney, 134 1/4.  The bout was scheduled for four rounds.

In February of  2018, she  fought at the 2300 Arena, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at 129½, won an eight-round unanimous decision over Nydia Feliciano, 129½.  The two were fighting for the vacant WBC International Super Featherweight title.

April 27, 2018 - KFC Yum! Center, Louisville, Kentucky, USA
Super featherweight Alycia Baumgardner, 131.5, of Fremont, Ohio,  won a six-round split decision over Kirstie Simmons, of Aurora, Colorado.  Final judges scores of 59-55, 56-58, and 58-56.

July 28, 2018 - Davis Arena, Louisville, Kentucky
Christina Linardatou, 130, won an eight-round split decision over Alycia Baumgardner, 130.   Christina is now 10-1-0 (5KO), and Baumgardner is 6-1-0 (4KO).  Christina returned to the ring after last fighting in November of 2016.  Final judges scores were 77-75, 77-75, and 75-77. x

May 10, 2019 - 2300 Arena, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
Featherweight Alycia Baumgardner, 130¼, won by a first round TKO over
Gabriella Mezei, 128¼.  The bout was scheduled for six rounds.

November 2, 2019 - Sun Dome, Tampa, Florida, USA
Chevelle Hallback,  146¼, won a six-round unanimous decision over Szilvia Szabados, 153¼.; in a second female bout, lightweight Alycia Baumgardner, `133.5, won a six-round unanimous decision over Annette Pabello, 135.5.

December 14, 2019 - Zembo Shrine, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA
Super featherweight Alycia Baumgardner won by a first round TKO over Cristina Pacheco.  The bout was scheduled for eight rounds.  In a second female bout, Britain Hart, 118 1/4, and Unique Harris, 118 1/4 had a four-round split draw.   Full Story

August 14, 2021 - Orlando, Florida
Alycia Baumgardner, 132 3/4, won an eight-round unanimous decision over Vanessa Bradford, 132 1/2.

November 13, 2021 - Sheffield Arena, Sheffield, UK -Alycia Baumgardner became the WBC/IBO Junior Lightweight world champion with a crushing fourth round stoppage over reigning and previously undefeated champion Terri Harper at The Sheffield Arena in Sheffield, England.  Baumgardner, who came in as a big underdog at more than 7 to 1, hurt Harper in round two with some hard right hands.  Full Story

On October 15, 2022 - Baumgardner (13-1, 7 KOs) is now one step closer to becoming undisputed champion after scoring a razor-thin split decision victory over Mikaela Mayer (17-1, 5 KOs) to unify the WBC, WBO, IBF and Ring Magazine junior lightweight titles Saturday evening at The O2 Arena.  Full Story

On July 15, 2023 -Masonic Temple, Detroit, Michigan,  Baumgardner, 129 3/4,  won a unanimous decision over Christina Linardatou, 129 1/2,  and retained her status as the undisputed junior lightweight champion of the world. The only loss Baumgardner had on her record was when she fought Linardatou in 2018. The belts at stake were the WBC, IBF, WBA, WBO, IBO. The judges’ scorecards were 99-91, 98-92 and 98-92.

August 1, 2023 - Congratulations to Alycia Baumgardner---Alycia is WBAN's August 2023 Fighter of the month...and folks What a Fighter! She is a boxer to be reckoned with, and is truly on top of her game. Alycia had a recent fight against Christina Linardatou putting all her belts on the line--she won by decision. She avenged her only loss with Christina who by most know is a top female boxer in the sport. Congrats Alycia---Well-deserved! Sue TL Fox
