Suszannah "Destiny" Warner, 5'5",
Strawweight-Flyweight, has proven to be an exceptionally talented
athlete. After a torn ACL temporarily ended her amateur soccer
career, the British-native hit the gym and began one of the fastest
rises in the female “fight game”. With no prior experience, and an
injured knee, Suszannah began training for the New York Golden
Gloves. After training for a mere three months, she advanced to the
finals at Madison Square Garden.
Three years in the amateurs, brought Suszannah two pairs of Silver,
one pair of Golden Gloves and the US National Champion title, in the
106 lb division, with USA Boxing. Soon afterward, she turned pro and
trained at-altitude in Colorado for the first six months of her
career.
Many of her peers have refused the challenge to fight Suszannah. In
her first professional fight, Suszannah knocked out her opponent in
merely 55 seconds. In December, just four months after turning pro,
she went the distance with IFBA Champion, Terri Cruz. In February,
she took on former amateur stand-out Kaleisha West (and daughter of
the famed fighter Juan West). Just two weeks later, Warner fought on
the under card of the Rahman v. Toney, promoted by Top Rank. She won
a unanimous decision over former Canadian champ, Noriko Kariya.
Kariya trains out of Jersey City, New Jersey and is managed by
Arturo Gatti’s team.
Six months after turning pro, Suszannah has reached a global ranking
of #9 in the world.
Suszannah is a tough, entertaining, fighter who has already earned
the respect of fight- fans and industry insiders. She is willing to
fight “anyone, any time, anywhere”, in order to achieve her
“Destiny” as a World Champion.
