Polish Amateur Star Karolina Owczarz Set For Pro Debut on "Todas Contra Mexico"

NORTH BERGEN, NJ (March 11, 2011) - Fresh off winning gold in the Polish Junior Championships last week, female amateur boxing star Karolina Owczarz is set to embark on her professional career on the upcoming Mexican boxing reality show, "Todas Contra Mexico," or "All Against Mexico."

The show is produced by MapiTV, with Global Boxing President and female boxing star Maureen Shea hosting. Taping begins next week in Chiapas, Mexico.

"Todas Contra Mexico" will match a team of talented female boxers from around the world against a team of Mexican boxers with a cash prize of $100,000 USD going to the winner. The airing network will be announced shortly.

The 18-year-old Karolina Owczarz of £ÓD¬, Poland is the second product of the Global Boxing Foundation, which was founded by Mariusz Kolodziej to give Polish amateur boxers a chance to fulfill their dreams of fighting abroad professionally.

"We are very happy to support Karolina and her career," said the Global Boxing CEO Kolodziej. "Karolina is an incredible talent, and her class and dignity elevate the sport of boxing as well as the Polish community."

The first Global Boxing Foundation fighter Kamil Laszczyk made his professional debut last week in New York, scoring a second round knockout over Emil Brooks.
