Chris Martinon, 17 (as of 2004), 5'4", 119 lbs., of  San Jose, California, 52-1, as an amateur, was recently named WBAN's Amateur Boxer of the year of 2003.  Chris has quickly made a name for herself in amateur boxing, and is not only an outstanding amateur boxer, but is also a First Dan Black Belt.
Martinon began boxing at the young age of 11, but not without reservations from her parents.  She is now coached by her father, Hector, who was also a former boxer out of Mexico.
