(SEPT 30) According to the decision of the Board of Directors of September 23, made in compliance with the IBA Constitution and Regulations, the membership of the Ukrainian Boxing Federation has been suspended. Based on IBA Constitution, the suspension means that a National Federation shall lapse its rights during a period of suspension. However, IBA reiterates that the decision will not affect the boxers of Ukraine.  Full Story

(SEPT 26) On Saturday night, September 24th, at the Manchester Arena, in Machester, Amanda "The Real Deal" Serrano, now 43-2-1 (30KO), won a ten-rounder over Sarah Mahfoud, who lost her first pro fight and now 11-1-0  (3KO). The two were fighting for the WBO, IBF, WBC, and IBO Featherweight titles.

(SEPT 25) LAS  VEGAS -  We are on the final countdown before the International Women's Boxing Hall of Fame takes place on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at the Orleans Hotel & Casino, in Las Vegas, Nevada.  It just seems like we celebrated our 2020-2021 IWBHF in Las Vegas, Nevada last August 14th.  That was a history-making event when the City of Las Vegas, made our event "Women's Boxing Day", with a proclamation from the Mayor of Las Vegas.

Michelle Preston wins WBA International title

(SEPT 13) In just three fights after coming out of retirement, UK Born New Zealander Michelle Preston wins the WBA Oceania and WBA International titles on September 9, 2022.  Preston returned to boxing in May 2022 when she defeated multiple-time New Zealand amateur national champion Holly McMath by a split decision. Last month she took on New Zealand-born Australian Nicila Costello for the WBA Oceania title, winning by Unanimous decision. Now in her third fight, she took on Thailand boxer Phannaluk Kongsang.  Full Story
