(JUNE 20) Last night at the Virgin Hotels, in Las Vegas, Nevada,
Mikaela Mayer took on a tough fight with Erica Farias, and winning
by a 10-round unanimous decision. The two were fighting for the WBO
Junior Lightweight World title. It was reported that Mayer
adjusted, turned up the heat and defeated Erica Farias. This
was a first successful defense of her belt.
